- Following up with customs & investment authorities for last updated rules and lows for updating the involved departments.
- Actively participates in business planning, new service development, partnership development, and other tactical departmental processes and procedures to identify service enhancements and internal productivity gains.
-Participates in the hiring/selection process for logistics & supply chain teams
-Applies Quality Management and Business Process Improvement principle
-Writes and conducts performance evaluations and progress reports
- Manages operation including full P&L and budget responsibility.
- Implement best practices in all operations including the use of Warehouse Management systems and customs systems.
- Develop Service Level Agreements (SLA) in line with customers' requirements.
-Assisting on developing SCM strategy, planning, coordination & executing the operations (International/Domestic) for shipments along with supervising to Trade Execution, W/H, Plant & port logistics teams situated at different locations. One of the main objective is to provide reliable and efficient services to our customer along-with full overview and broader SCM perspective to business by identifying executions opportunities and providing operational solutions.
- Engagement in various planning activities and delivery solutions to every possible challenge encountered in SCM. Which includes constant collaborations with various internal teams such as trading, finance, treasury, HR & legal etc. to assess the volumes and plan workforce and work processes accordingly for smooth execution, discharge and warehousing operations.
-Dealing closely with plant logistics team to be aware of stock positions and future demands to cater and ensure of timely availability of required transportation and no shortage of supplies by maintaining required per day discharge and delivery rate to plant as well as for domestic deliveries.
-Assisting on leading Supply Chain team to follow and coordinate Export/Import executional tasks and evaluating overall performance of each individual and team to provide required coaching and guidance for identified areas to improvements.

-Regularly monitor and circulate the latest changes of import/export laws and ensure such knowledge is factored into the logistics and supply planning
- Provides input and direction to senior members of the team in supervising the logistics process of loading the vessel at the origin port, tracking the location of the vessel during its voyage, and complete unloading the vessel at the destination port along with handling local deliveries and supply chain processes.
- Analyzing and negotiating shipping cost with freight forwarders based on various aspects inclusive of weight and volume of each shipment and country of origin.
- Supervise the issuance of daily reports which show Daily Production Report, Available Stock for loading undelivered materials
-Responds to complex customer problems by systematically analyzing the situation and to ensure problems do not recur & identifies creative or resourceful approaches to resolving issues and overcomes problems
-Ensure tracking of merchandise and consignments in transit after coordinating with external agencies and communicating the status to merchandise team.
-provides service knowledge to assist customers in identifying shipping solutions and meeting business needs.

-To handle all follow ups shipping and documentations of projects required by different parties from different origins and destinations.
-Handling all the shipments with the global net work agent and following up till releasing the cargo to the receivers.
- Follow up on orders with shippers & forwarders and advise relevant departments of the status.
-.Provide, in coordination with the Logistics Manager, needed support and advice to internal customers within area of expertise to ensure attainment and maintenance of set logistics practices standards.
Ensure efficient service to the business by setting work objectives and schedules for specific Logistics operations and/or processes Identify procedures and reports, related to the assigned area of charge, suggesting improvements in order to support the ongoing development of Logistics standards.
Ensure logistics policies and procedures are in adherence to identified legal requirements/regulations. Follow up, internally, with the local logistics teams on internal shipments and, externally, with forwarders, clearing agents, insurance brokers and suppliers on all issues related to delay of external shipments.
Compare costs of forward companies in local markets and recommend best deal in alignment with the group’s corporate strategy.
Report non-compliance issues to the Management ensuring timely resolution while maintaining high quality service level.
Prepare exports documents for trans-shipment
-preparing rate quotations to the VIP clients and following their inquiries till booking step.
-Coordinate the delegates' distribution
•Following up daily operation work for shipments (starting from booking till case finalization including customs clearance and inland haulage.
•Sending enquirers to shipping lines, tractor companies and receiving quotations from them.
•Coordination of loading & transportation from different ports.
•Coordinate activities and strongly participate on solving customer's issues and support sales team in providing tailor-made services to customers.
