Key Duties & Responsibilities:
-Planning materials requirements
-Reviewing the stocks and open orders against requirements and take corrective actions when
needed
-initiating the Purchase orders based on the current demand and send it to the suppliers
-Following up with the suppliers and shipping companies until the material enters the warehouse.
-Make sure of receiving the right material, with the right quantity on the required time of arrival.
- make sure the data on the ERP system (Sap ) are up to date.
-Solving the problems that arise during the procurement process.
-Negotiating the prices, terms & conditions of the contracts
-Searching for alternative suppliers who can provide better products & service
-Maintaining strong business relationship with the suppliers.& shipping companies
