Working in Grand Egyptian Museum& 1. Monitors construction Contractors’ mechanical installation and testing activities,
including, but not limited to piping, leak tests, duct work & insulation, pumps, building
management system, HVAC controls, domestic water systems, foundation de-watering
system, etc.
2.Witnesses Contractors’ quality control inspections to ensure that the permanent works
are constructed according to the contract, applicable codes, standards, approved drawings
and specifications (i.e. leak detection, equipment startup and commissioning)
3.Reviews Contractors’ mechanical quality assurance and quality control programs,
inspection and test plans, installation, testing, and as-built procedures, for all mechanical
systems and comments for transmittal to the contractors.
4.Organizes, coordinates, and conducts in conjunction with the concerned
departments/organizations acceptance inspections and re-inspections of the completed
permanent works, until all deficiencies are corrected and signed off
5.Inspect ceiling closures and Make Pre snagging Inspections
6. Assists Contractor with coordination of the MEP process, including the development of
coordinated slab penetration drawings, MEP ceiling and wall coordination, coordination of
condensate drain systems
1.Responsible for solving any troubleshooting during the shift, check all equipment and swimming pool in the hotel, guiding and issuing assignment to the shift team, good understanding of all building Electro mechanical systems, able to use test equipment .
1.Ensures that the services of subcontractors and major construction equipment required by the project will be available at the appropriate time to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
2.Establishes assignments for Construction Superintendents for various work areas of construction operations, monitoring progress and recommending corrective action as necessary.
3.Prepares periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher-level management and clients.
4.Follow-up with sub-contractors, consultant. Manage the firefighting-HVAC-Plumbing work in site, follow the shop drawing, and make inspection request and material inspection. Responsible for reading reports from junior engineers, supervisors and discuss with them the progress of work.
1.Responsible for Supervise sub-contractors team performance, guide and report any problems to Site Manager in order to take necessary actions.
2.Manage day-to-day site issues, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
3.Prepare daily status report to present zone performance and obstacles need to solve.
4.Inspects deliveries/installed/constructed work to ensure that it is in accordance with shop drawings.
5.Prepare CIRs and submit to consultant for approval.
6.Work in technical office for period in submittal of material.
