• Cooperate with the internal resources to achieve EHS objectives.
• Support different functions to perform EHS Risk Assessment and to define appropriate measures to control risks.
• Ensure implementation of site emergency plans.
• Coordinate and control activities with respect of EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operation areas.
• Provide support and advice to site personnel to prevent injury, damage to plant and equipment, fire, environmental pollution.
• Recognize the best practices and the good performance. React to violations to regulations and Alstom Standards.
• Ensure proper deployment of procedures and tools and make sure they are aligned with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO45001).
• Ensure that Alstom EHS standards and tools are deployed at Site level.
• Attend the Weekly Management Walkthrough and any Local authorities site visit.
• Arrange / Supervise the Emergency HSE Drills with different Scenarios.
• Support the Site managers & functions to ensure compliance of the site activities according to the EHS Plan, Procedures guidelines, and work instructions.
• Lead / Arrange the EHS Awards Site program.
• Support the site Managers & different functions to capture, report, record, investigate and analyse accidents/incidents to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the preparation of monthly EHS reports.
• Support and advice on proper implementation of QM-HSE Management System through QM-HSE procedures and instructions as follows: Safe Job Analysis (SJA) - Work permit / Electrical Isolation - Incident reporting and recording - Incident investigation - HSE meetings - STOP System - Certification of equipment.
• Assist and monitor the implementation of emergency response and drills.
• Investigate, records accidents, prepare necessary reports and statistics and follow-up on incidents corrective actions close-out.
• Inspect to ensure that routines related to inspection and maintenance of safety related equipment is in accordance with EDC requirements, Class requirements and relevant regulations.
• Keep records for the safety equipment certificates on board and ensure that every equipment has its own origin certificate.
• Prepare monthly statistics report(s) in accordance with EDC QM-HSE requirements.
• Assist the STP to maintain rig filing system per EDC QMS requirements.
• Assisting in pre and post job preparations.
• Assisting in operation of Solid Control and Filtration Equipment.
• Worked with different operators such as Rashpetco (Shell), Agiba (Eni JV), Khalda (Apache), Petrobel (Eni JV) and GPC.
