Implementing internal control procedures to ensure the safeguarding of company assets
• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends.
• Ensuring that appropriate financial regulations and controls are in place.
• Ensuring the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed well.
• Produce statutory accounts.
• Provide statutory returns for tax, VAT and other government departments.
• Maintain a fixed asset register.
• Manage the preparation and the development of the Company's Business Plan and budgets.
• Manage the Accounts Dept. staff.
• Identify training needs within the department and make suitable recommendations. .
• Identify and evaluate areas for improvement of profit with particular regard to cost reductions methodology.
• Develop a culture of empowerment throughout the Finance Team.
• Ensuring that every expense is properly documented he finance team
• Ensuring that the books of accounts are compiled every end of the month
• Ensuring that the books of accounts are compiled at the end of every financial year
• Oversee the Payroll function in accordance with PAYE legislation.
• Handling the co-insurance policies
• Control the capital expenditure to be matched with the initial budget

Responsible for all aspects of financial control and reporting and the link between the accounting department and upper management.
• Oversees financial reports in compliance with industry legislation and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Regulatory Guidelines.
• Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
• Manage provisions and reserves.
• Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure.
• Manage the Co budget.
• Supervising staff.
• Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues.
• Ensure that all financial matters are in accordance with legislation and ethical accounting practices.
• Manage the Zakat Positions with the Zakat Consultant.
• Responsibility for company insurance, leasing.

• Review collection reports to determine the status of collections and the amounts of outstanding balances.
• Manage the capital budgeting.

• Develop external relationships, for example; solicitors, bankers, Consultants.
• Ensure that all transactional, payroll requirements are met.
Preparing journal entries for General Ledger accounts
• Preparing the analysis of accrual & prepaid accounts on a monthly base
• Preparing the bank reconciliation for different banks & different currency
• Preparing the invoices entries for the accounts payable
• Recording the additions & dispositions in the fixed assets register
• Participating in the monthly closing & year-end closing
Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statement and supporting schedule according to primary closing schedule
• Facilitate & complete monthly closing procedures
• Analyze revenue & Expenses to insure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly base
• Prepare monthly accounts reconciliations
• Assist with financial and tax audit
• Assist in preparing tax return and corporate reporting requirements
• Assist in implementing the internal controls system.
