This position is responsible for the management and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic and personnel for Alfa Laboratory & Scan clinical program or operational area as defined on the management structure of the Alfa Laboratory & Scan.
Responsibilities include:
Personnel management, budget preparation, development & implementation of testing policies and procedures, overseeing teaching programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance to maintain accreditation.
Ensuring high quality and accuracy of clinical testing and imaging, consulting with medical staff and faculty, developing and overseeing a quality assurance plan, competency plan, annual goals, resolving patient/testing problems, and ensuring training and competency of all personnel.
Leading and facilitating, along with the faculty leader dyad, the service team(s) for their clinical program or operational area. The service team leadership is shared with the faculty dyad. All major decisions on clinical testing, operational workflow, capital budget, operational budget, annual goals and future directions flow through the service team and it is charged with implementing patient and family centered care.
Immediate accountability for recruitment and retention, competency, employee engagement and safety of staff working in their area of oversight.
Holding self and staff accountable for demonstrating the behavioral standards of Alfa Medical Laboratory & Scan.
Problem solving, as The Alfa Medical Laboratory & Scan do testing or have oversight for testing that ranges from waived to moderate and high complexity. Problems encountered are of a moderate or high degree of difficulty and require independent decision-making ability. Problems may be of an operational, technical, procedural, or personnel management nature, at times requiring the incumbent to seek knowledge not readily available.
Oversight of implementation of the Alfa Medical Laboratory & Scan educational and research mission as it applies for their area. This includes teaching of all levels of learners and meeting the special needs of researchers.
A wide variety of contact relationships are involved in the performance of this position. Internal contacts include, but are not limited to medical technologists and other laboratory & Scan staff, nurses, physicians, medical directors, faculty members, lab or hospital administration, purchasing agents, and Human Resources. External contacts include manufacturing and sales representatives, outside laboratory and imaging representatives, regulatory inspectors, and peers from other healthcare institutions. Extensive communication, organization, time management, initiative, and technical skills are needed for successful performance.
Formalize a customer development program per customer & country to drive new business.
Regularly hold planned and structured meetings with all key accounts.
Be responsible for development, designing, and operationalizing Health Care Provider (HCP) strategy for a given brand/franchise. Focus on developing key messages, defining brand positioning, and designing core tactics in order to inform HCPs and drive the marketing and sales of products portfolio

Responsible for Successful planning, execution, and acceptance of information system implementation, provide leadership, and Works with the rest of the Project Team to coordinate all implementation activities and resources. Responsibilities include:
Helps develop preliminary implementation strategy.
Organizes Project Team and establishes appropriate decision-making bodies.
Defines project standards and metrics for measurement.
Develops global work-plan and schedules, develops or delegates and monitors development of departmental implementation work-plans where appropriate.
Monitors overall project progress.
Develops and monitors project budget from a cost and time perspective as required by the Project Champion.
Monitors contract execution and ensure project compliance with contract and quality assurance standards.
Oversees project documentation/library to ensure comprehensive project records are maintained as required by the organization.
Identifies and manages risk and quality assurance issues which arise during project.
Develops system for issue escalation and resolution.
Manages resolution of project issues, escalating them to appropriate decision-making authorities within the organization when necessary.
Coordinates project resources and other support groups as needed.
Champions the vision and health care priorities within and outside of the implementation project.
Create awareness of the project and impending change.
Assist those impacted by ensuring changes they receive proper training, mentoring, etc.

User, Network, and Storage Media Management;
Quality control and performance monitoring;
Study monitoring and patient information management;
Training for new and ongoing users;
Trouble-shooting and problem solving;
Security, including development and monitoring of policies and procedures;
Providing proactive technical administration, planning, coordination, documentation;
Preparing a data-processing compilation and electronic data processing;
Working to perfect the telecommunications network technology for specific needs (long distance consultation among specialists, join participation of researchers in separate places in the same research program, surgical tele-assistance by means of electronic transmission of video images, etc);
Working with specialists in the medical and surgical fields to develop specialized software and database used for computer assisted diagnosis and therapy.

Preparing the patient for tests and operating the equipment used to produce record and develop anatomical images.

Diagnosing diseases and lesions that affect the skeleton and organs of the human body by means of X-Ray and other types of radiation diagnostic examination (Angiography, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging “MRI, ” Computerized Axial Tomography “CAT Scan”, or Computerized Tomography “CT”).
Analyzing images generated in the course of prescribed examinations.
