As a lead logistics provider (LLP) or fourth-party logistics (4PL)
provider, DHL assumes accountability for the management,
performance, cost, and development of all supply chain functions,
transactions, systems, and suppliers. The customer receives agreed
service levels across the supply chain, along with one contact point if
required.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain SLA, SOPs, operation flow chart, reports,
documentation process, and operation fundamentals.
Plan the material flow management systems to meet
production requirements.
Giving training to shipping department personnel in roles
or responsibilities regarding the logistics strategies.
Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply
chain efficiency and sustainability.
Increase the operation productivities by enhancing the
workflow to reduce all kind of waste times
Value creation projects across IMEA sites by target 2.5
MM$ with probability by 80% & cost avoidance possible
in supply chain
Direct inbound logistics operations, such as transportation
or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics
quality management.
My organization has 66 employees, managing 5 operation
managers across IMEA region.
Implement the System and processes by adding into
consideration the best service and cost reduction.
Reviewing & monitoring Monthly Scorecard for IMEA
sites (Cairo, Dammam, Jeddah, Casablanca, Ibadan, Legos,
and South Africa, India, and Pakistan)
Work to develop the daily PD meeting with Ops team &
Gemba walk in order to have the continuance improvement
Work on the solutions & opportunities to eliminate the
Non-value adding cost across IMEA sites
Communications with material supply management leaders
to gather feedback regarding business needs
Making more simplification in all daily operating
procedures with creating automated tools for all relative
areas such as “ reports, system, merging between the
customer system and DHL system and etc..
Clear Expansion plan to increase services to be the
customer first choice
Managing the customer contract renewal every 2 years
Support DHL LLP for any new customer implementation
