• Preparing designs for MV&L.V. Switchgear, LV & MV Cabling, Cable trays, Lightning, Earthing for traction and power supply rooms in the metro stations.
• Traction equipment sizing (i.e. Transformers, High-speed C.B., Traction Distribution Board…etc.)
• Preparing the Bill of Quantities.
• Familiar with the international standards NEC, IEE, IEC, BS, IEEE, CIE for traction and transport projects
• Preparing designs for MV&L.V. Responsible for installation of all electrical schemes (lighting, normal and power sockets and all light current design as Firefighting, Networks, also Transformers, Generators, Switch gears, MV& LV panels, ATS, …etc )
Thesis under the title: Investigation of Electric Distribution System Restoration Techniques The development of smart grids and the increasing concerns about the reliability of the electric network has led to the establishment of new methods of power system restoration. These methods aim to improve the self-healing capability in distribution networks by fully automating the process of restoration. This is achieved by utilizing smart control devices that has the ability to gather data, communicate with each other, take the required decisions and execute the necessary actions. One of the restoration methods that utilize such smart devices is the one based on multi-agent systems which consists of controllers distributed along the distribution network that are called agents. The main advantage of using multi-agent systems is the ability of implementing decentralized control strategies that lead to a fast restoration process.
