Brief of Job Description:
1- Pre-Check for the design drawings
2- Preparation of Suppliers prequalification and material submittals as per specifications and IFC drawings to get the client approval.
3- Responsible for execution managing of complete Civil works of :
- GIS building, Switchgear& Control rooms.
- Cable basements, tunnels, trenches & duct banks.
- Transformer foundations, fire walls & oil collection tank.
- Equipment & gantry foundations, steel structures, precast concrete & grouting.
- Special finishing work like raised floor, false ceiling, hollow metal doors, epoxy screed, special paints.
- External works.
4- Planning and scheduling of site activities through daily progress report and three weekly look ahead report.
5- Taking place in preparation of: mobilization and demobilization plan, updating the project schedule, material& manpower schedule, site monthly funds, analysis of suppliers& subcontractors quotations.
6- Attending for all meetings (technical, Safety, progress & coordination meetings)
7- Coordination between civil & electromechanical work.
8- Complete managing and supervision of subcontractors work.
C) Projects execution manager from 2002 up to 2004, the following projects have been performed: 1- Four towers in Naser city - Cairo; complete finishing works.
2- Six residential buildings in Alobour city -Cairo, turn Key.
3- Service buildings in royal hills resort in 6 Oct. city
4- Construction of short span bridge, 7 nos., culvert and protection for Nile
River embankment 5L.KM - the client was Ministry of irrigation and drainage.

# Employed by Ministry of electricity and energy Egypt as a civil site engineer at El-Kureimat 2x650MW thermal power station (project value $900 million) and I was assigned to work for Raytheon Engineers and Constructors, the American consultant and construction manager for the Egyptian Electricity Authority.
My responsibilities included inspection and supervision of -: A- The civil construction activities such as: 1 - Earth works: Excavation, backfilling and grading.
2 - Piles.
3 - Concrete works: Formwork, rebar and concrete pouring.
4 - Pre-cast, steel structure and grouting.
5 - Off-shore works: dewatering, sheet piling, riprap protection etc.
6 - Utilities.
7 - Finishing works.
B- Lab and site tests: 1 - Compaction (sand cone and truxilar test)
2 -Piles tests: Bentonite test, ultrasonic and loading.
3 - Concrete tests: slump, temp, strength and core test.
C- Office works: 1- Review of contractor's invoices and change orders.
2- Preparation of Contract deviations.
The project structures were: Turbine building, boiler, chimney, Control building, intake, discharge, cooling water pipe line, substation, water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant, warehouse, maintenance shop and administration building.
