• Manage AR operations for a SAR 30M+ receivables portfolio covering approximately 40 active credit customers and a
broader base of 1, 500+ cash accounts, with day-to-day work carried out in SAP as the primary system.
• Follow up on outstanding balances with credit customers on a structured schedule, escalating overdue accounts
through Sales and Logistics when disputes or delivery issues are preventing payment.
• Prepare and distribute weekly AR reports covering aging analysis, DSO, and collection status for Finance leadership
review.
• Run regular open-item review meetings with colleagues from Sales, Logistics, and Credit to work through unresolved
balances and agree on next steps.
• Directly supervise two cashiers responsible for receiving daily cash collections from sales representatives, verifying
deposits, matching payments against system records, and preparing daily collection reports. Review their work daily,
resolve discrepancies, and ensure procedures are followed correctly.
• Reconcile the AR sub-ledger at month end, clear open items, and support the Finance team with accrual entries and
period-end close tasks.
• Support cash application by reviewing posted payments, investigating unallocated receipts, and coordinating with the
team to ensure accurate ledger postings.
• Carry out VAT reconciliation on AR transactions in line with ZATCA requirements and support the Finance team during
internal and external audit fieldwork.
• Use Excel daily for AR reporting and data checks, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and Power Query to extract and
format data from SAP.

• Reconciled daily sales transactions submited by 25+ field sales representatives, checking for posting errors before
entries were finalised in the ledger.
• Built an Excel tracking sheet to log daily transactions and flag exceptions, which reduced the time spent on manual
checks and made month-end reconciliation more straightforward.
• Supported the Finance team with month-end close tasks including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and
preparing schedules for the audit file.
• Helped standardise the format of sales data submited by the field team, making it easier to consolidate figures for
monthly reporting and reducing manual corrections at period end.

• Reviewed and processed trade claims, checking supporting documents, resolving discrepancies with the commercial
team, and ensuring claims were submited accurately for payment.
• Created a pre-submission checklist for claim documentation, which helped reduce missing-document rejections and
improved consistency across the team.
• Flagged recurring irregularities in claim submissions to the supervisor and contributed to adjustments in the teams
validation procedures.
