 EHS & Quality guidelines implementation in projects
 Clearance of site snags, completeness of material in the scope of supply and other quality measures as mandated by the contracts.
 Insure that projects at closeout stage will be completed as per the approved budget & time schedule.
 Reporting and updating of portfolio status that includes sales, cash,
 OTDs in a timely manner as required by the unit management
 Projects reviews according to the published schedules.
 Identification of the strength & weaknesses of team members and proposal of necessary training to enhance the team skills set.
 Team’s appraisals and reporting.
 Making sure the all the unit processes are adopted by the team members on their jobs.

Main achievement:

 No accidents or failures had been happened during or after energizing due to site installation or commissioning.

Residence Project manager for GCCIA project, GCCIA project is a unique project, the project is linked all Gulf countries with high voltage elctrical network grid to transfer the elcrtical power between gulf countries.
GCC Interconnection Project (Phase I), 400KV grid project; 7 substations at five GCC countries.
Project is a turnkey project (contract value: 37 M$) for all protection, control, telecommunication & SCADA systems for the below substations,

 Getting the TOC for 90% of project system.

 Follow up with the subcontractors and manage their contract invoices.
 Follow up with the finance for the Saudi Arabia project expenses.
 Following up the sites activates in Saudi Arabia (4 ss, 400KV substations) and one substation in Bahrain.
 Follow up the electro-mechanical activates at ICC (SCADA control central of GCC).
 Managing all the site expenses, quality & safety for Saudi Arabia sites& Bahrain.
 Handing over all the spare parts items of the project to consultant and the client.
 Cleared all the pending snags before & after the energization.
 Complete all required statements and site modification required.
 Energizing all the substations with zero accident
 Arrange the required resources, and the required materials to close the snag points during closeout stage.

 Managing the installation teams or commissioning teams according to natural of the project and the mission.
 Close all pending & snag points during closeout stage.

Role of Deputy Project Manager :

1. Three sub-stations - 220 KV - USAID Project (Egypt)
2. RPC project (capacitor banks) - 220KV Mansuora s/s USAID project (Egypt)

Main Responsibility:

 Responsible for project planning, project budget, budget division and subcontractors’ invoices.
 Reporting to project director & arrange all project review document with the unit managing director.
 Sending the inquiries for subcontractors and complete the negotiation with suppliers.
 Design follow up and time schedule tracking with all member teams at the project.
 Creating and following up the risk assessment of the project.
 Coordinate with our partner for the other activities.


Role of Commissioning Engineer :

Projects:
1. Kurimate project- backup protection panels at Kurimate power
generation station (Egypt)
2. EDF project / 220 kV GIS substation - Port Said ( Egypt)
3. EDF project / 220 kV GIS substation - Suiz ( Egypt)
4. ECC project - extension feeders at ECC 220 KV substation ( Egypt)

 Main Responsibility:
I was project engineer at a new power generation plant under construction and reported to the head of electrical department manager
o Follow up the above contracts.
o Witness and approved all electrical tests and responsible about all SAT tests.
o Create the defects or snags and reported to the direct manager
o Witnessed and approved the factory acceptance tests for medium voltage of the unit # 2 of the power generation.

 Main achievement::
o Energized the complete 500KV GIS & 220KV substations in the power plant.
o Getting all of the experience from the contractors for the new technologies of the power equipment at that time.
o Getting the commissioning experience to test all equipment with no support from the suppliers.
