Active in-house management of over $2.0 billion investments spanning across multiple asset classes of
listed equities, real estate, fixed income, private equity and alternative investments in EMs and Qatar.
 Annualized total return of 13.6% for the period 2013 - June 2018 versus benchmark’s annualized total
return of 6.4% translating to 7.2% annualized excess return in Qatar listed equity portfolio management.
 Successful execution and design for investments utilization and asset reallocation tailored to meet Milaha
investment objectives and enhancing the risk/return metrics. Materially contributed to Milaha bottom
line reaching highest at 83% of Milaha’s net profit in 2017.
 Active management of Qatar real estate portfolio with more than 15 properties of residential, commercial,
industrial and land book with total AUM near $1.0 billion. Valuation and analysis of over $1.5 billion of
new real estate development projects, which resulted in successful closure and development of more than
$250 million new real estate projects.
 Streamlined the investment decision making process through documentation of Investment Committee
Charter, IPS and investment process.
 Reviewed and presented periodic performance reports to the Investment Committee and BOD, prepared
and presented budgets, and reviewed P&L statements.

AB Invest (

Played a vital role in the investment decision making process through carrying out various investment
valuations on listed equity, private equity, real estate, fixed income and other alternative investments;
whilst identifying key risk metrics and reporting results to the Investment Committee.
 Built and reviewed valuation models that included DCF, DDM, peer analysis, NPV, IRR, valuation
multiples and scenario analysis, which was the backbone of the investment decisions.
 Recommended optimal capital structure and transaction structure that maximized the IRR while
maintaining acceptable levels of risk for M&A, private equity and JV transactions.
 Reviewed engagement letters, set scope of work, negotiated engagement terms and fees received from
third-party advisors and consultants. Also, reviewed due diligence reports from all areas of coverage to
better understand the complexity of the transaction and provided my recommendations accordingly.

Successful analysis and closure of over $800 million of ECM and DCM transactions, including IPOs,
secondary POs, bond issuing and business valuation.
 Drafted proposals, prepared and managed submission files, managed third party roles (Legal, Audit, and PR
Agency), built financial models, conducted business valuations, scenario analysis and due diligence.
 Identified business opportunities through conducting research, sight visits, and presentations related to our
products and services, this notably assisted in increasing the department’s revenue stream.
