Project: Qatar Local Roads and Drainage Programme (LRDP)
Responsibilities:
- The (PMC) focal Point with Kahramaa regarding Utilities Interface, responsible for full
coordination between the General Engineering Consultants (GECs) and (Qatar General
Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) for both water & electricity during Design &
Construction.
- Review procedure, Improve the quality checks & give recommendation for approval or
rejection to Ashghal for all road openings (RO, DR & RFI) applications applied by all
Qatar External Stakeholders (i.e QNBN, Ooredoo, Kahramaa, MOI, Qrail, ..Etc) on both
Ashghal’s systems QPRO 2 & QDRS1 and manage turnover of ROs within the defined
timeframe.

- Follow up on the approval processes, Facilitate the communication between the different
parties in the Programme assuring that the projects transferred smoothly between
different phases of design to end up the construction.
- Identify inefficiency/gaps close/signoff swim lanes and approval procedure from working
level in KAHRAMAA and escalate major issues that can have time/cost impact on
programme.
Project: Study, Design and Construction Supervision for the Construction and Maintenance for
the Upgrading of Roads Network within the Governmental Zone at South Surra Area, Kuwait.
Responsibilities:
Design of Troughs and Superstructure of Utility & at Grade Vehicular Bridges based on
AASHTO LRFD design standard,
Managing the preparation of Detailed Structural Drawings (as part of tender documents
submission) to make sure there is no conflict with project Specifications.
Guide & Manage QS engineers for Structural quantities take off.
Preliminary Design of Superstructure for Elevated Vehicular Bridges with Different Spans
based on AASHTO LRFD design standard.
Managing the preparation of the preliminary Structural Drawings for the Project.
Project: Conceptual Design for the Design Build and Maintenance of Interchanges and Elevated
U-Turns at Nawaseeb Road
Responsibilities:
Preparing the Conceptual Structural Drawings for the project.
Calculating the structural quantities including (Bridges, Camel Crossings, Pedestrian Bridges
.Etc) developing a system for vision barriers for bridges at two Military areas.
Project: Upgrading of Second Ring Road, Third Ring Road, Cairo and Damascus Streets
Responsibilities:
Design Superstructures for at grade Bridges supported by Trough, based on AASHTO (LFD),
Standard design Specification.
Trough Wall Design and Calculating the Required Tension Piles for base slab,
Preparation of the Structural Drawings.
Calculating the Structural Quantities Including (Bridges Works, Troughs Works, Pedestrian
Bridges, and Utility Bridges.etc).
Helping in Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation for the Project.
Project: Pre Feed Study for Proposed Truck Route from Ras Lafaan to Mesaieed, Qatar
Responsibilities:
Helping the business development team on Preparation of Proposal Documents Including
Quantities takeoff, Cost Estimate and Scheduling.
Project documents preparation including submittals.
Requests for Inspection & Requests for information.
Responsible for shop drawings QA/QC as well as compliance with the project specifications.
Liaising with the Resident Engineer of the project and the client to ensure the quality and
schedule are maintained.
