- Studying the tender document, highlighting the potential opportunities and threads to the top management for taking decision.
- Co-ordinate all activities of the engineering team to develop the technical solution to allow the proposals group to build a cost base.
- Responsible for co-ordination and review of engineering tender deliverables and identifying risk to project, and assisting PM in risk mitigation, maintain risk register.
- The main point of contract for engineering during the tender process and liaise with Commercial BD Manager as required to take receipt of tender documentation.
- Preparing the technical and commercial proposals for the tenders that the company decided to participate in, and work with other departments to ensure all relevant documentation is included when the tender is submitted.
- Negotiate contracts terms and conditions and insure minimum risk to my company
- Preparing project’s MTO and collecting prices offers
- Preparing comparison sheet for collected materials and subcontractors offers.
- Evaluate the subcontractors/vendors offers.
- Manage the subcontractors and oversee any Commercial or contractual aspects of tendering, evaluation, negotiation and award.
- Provide a contractual and commercial summary to the Project Manager of the assigned project.
- Handle and establish many types of agreements between sub-contractor and my company.
- Preparing the projects’ budgets and prices analysis and assuring that the items of significant costs have been considered.
- Reviewing and assessing Tenders Documents and ITT
- Preparation of Bid Preparation Schedule
- Convening Tender Meetings Internally after Identifying responsible peoples internally for various activities within predetermined timelines to determine feasibility to bid
- Attend periodic progress review meetings with the proposal preparation team and monitor progress of each activity.
- Preparation and Requesting for clarifications.
- Attending Tender Clarification Meetings and Site Visits.
- Co-ordinate with all tender preparation team to ensure completion of various activities on time, support and resolve any issues faced, ensure smooth flow of inputs through periodic discussions with internal departments.
- Evaluation of Supplier’s Quotations, Third Party, Sub-Contract and Deliveries
- Preparation of Execution Methodology and Project Execution Plan
- Risk Assessment
- Work together with the Estimation Department and prepare cost estimates in a timely manner.
- Preparation of Tender Response, Bank Guarantees, Deviations/ Qualifications, Alternate Tender
- Responding to Post-Tender clarifications
- Continue communication with Customer / End User and obtain feedback on bids submitted.
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts upon award Receive Contract and Contract Review
- Work compliant to Company Values, Principles, Policies and Procedures
- Work compliant to Company QHSE Policies and Procedures
- Reviewing the contract terms & conditions prior to signing the contract, assuring the execution possibility and suggesting any amendments.
- Familiars with many types of contracts and FADIC .
- Reviewing enquiry documentation and assist with the formulation of an order winning strategy
- Identify client requirements, liaising with internal and external suppliers with close liaison with Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Engineering and Commercial functions.
