Establishing the scope of services for the project in conjunction with the Company's Chief Operations Officer, Technical Affairs Head and client, and in accordance with the project proposal and contract.
Planning staff budgets and manpower requirements necessary to execute the scope of services with the Project Staff and appropriate Division and Department Management,
Following up the progress of the project and reporting on their status to the Projects Division Head and client as required. Giving more attention to reporting matters affecting project overruns or delays, as soon as these become apparent, and makes every effort with Company Management to rectify them.
Approves all submittals to the client of work outputs, information requests, advisory notices, project status reports, etc.
Ensures compliance of work with contract objectives. Prepares contract change notices and requests as required, in accordance with established Division procedures and the Project Quality Plan.
Coordinates internal company work assignments with other Divisions, Departments, and/or Field Offices.
Represents the Company in all relations with Client.
Assists Business Development Division Management in the preparation of proposals
Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.

Establishes detailed scope of work for the project
Establishes, with the Project Staff and appropriate Division and Department Management, staff budgets and manpower requirements necessary to execute the scope of work.
Prepare monthly project status reports, change orders, and invoices.
Monitors the progress of all project functions and reports on their status
Maintains, through the Project Staff, a chronological file of project history, supported by minutes of meetings and a daily log of significant events affecting the project.
Authorizes and approves all requests to the Finance Department for preparation of invoices to the client.
Approves all submittals to the client of work outputs
Ensures compliance of work with contract objectives.
Represents the Company in all relations with Client
Establishing the context and the structured frame work for the risk management
Building the awareness of risk structure within the organization
Develop the risk management plan and specify the adequate approaches for each project.
Identifying risks and assessing the impact on the project objectives using the project models (Schedule, Budget And Scope)
Facilitate the sessions held for risk identification process.
Developing risk response planes to mitigate the impact of the identified risks.
Tracks Risk development into real events and recommends and initiates the treatment/response plan.
Monitor the implementation of the response plans and take corrective actions to implemented plans and make improvements
Monitoring the status of the risks and evaluating the efficiency of the identified responses
Preparing risk progress reports for project's stakeholders,
- Maintains liaison between all personnel assigned to the project to assure mutual understanding and agreement on all phases of the work as defined by the contract and to assure continuity of job progress and design.
- Gathers and disseminates project data and information to all concerned so that all activities are well correlated to meet the project commitments.
- Coordinates and resolved technical problems including non-conformance to project specifications or engineering standards.
- Establish and maintains coordination between engineering staff and client technical representatives.
- Controls client requests to assure adherence to the project scope; Reviews all bid analyses and present them to the Project Manager for approval.
- Assists the Project Manager in the preparation of the Project Procedures Manual, Quality Plan, Schedules, etc.
- Assists the Project Manager or, in his absence, conducts project review meetings involving any or all technical disciplines assigned to the project team.
- Assists the Project Manager in motivating the project team to efficiently, economically, and satisfactorily complete their technical assignments.
- Automatically replaces the Project Manager in all or part of his responsibilities in his absence
- Review Tender documents and gather required data for design.
- Preparing design documents (Drawings and BOQ's) before issuing them for tender or construction by principle engineer.
- Design & Detailing of the OHTL (Over Head Transmission Lines) projects
- Inspecting the work being done on site to be sure that it’s done according to the approved shop drawings
