▪ Supervises and assures aseptic behaviour in aseptic powder filling process.
▪ Assures the full implementation of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in process.
▪ Management and leadership of shop floor towards target achievement.
▪ Review of batch records and assurance of implementation of Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
▪ Training of shop floor on aseptic behaviour, GMP topics, GDP topics, and soft skills.
▪ Assures implementation and following Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) rules in workplace.
▪ Participation in monthly planning with planning and logistics department.
▪ Deviation handling: participates in investigation, conduction of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and putting Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA), certified internal auditor.
▪ Responsible for yield improvement, productivity enhancement and savings improvement.
▪ Implementation of Glaxo Production System (GPS): Accountability Boards, Tactical Implementation Plans, 5S, Leader Standard Work and Operator Standard Work.
▪ Raw materials analysis according to relevant pharmacopoeias and specifications.
▪ Gap analysis for all raw materials, aiming for full scheme testing.
▪ Recording and Handling Deviations and out of specifications (OOS).
▪ Analysis of stability samples (analysis encloses HPLC, UV, dissolution, disintegration test)
▪ Updating the stability archiving system for the quality assurance team.
▪ Reviewing and updating stability studies protocols for the whole range of products
▪ Reviewing and updating batch assessment records and SOPs
▪ Analytical balances check/calibration responsible.
▪ Ensuring Compliance to cGMP and GLP.
▪ Ensuring Implementation of EHS standards.
▪ Organizing responsibilities with other team members.
I used to be the only pharmacist available at the pharmacy at night shifts ( 5 pm - 1 am). My job duties were:
- Dispensing medications.
- Registering goods and medications on the system.
- Patient counseling.
Thesis title: The biological activity of the extracts of Matricaria chamomilla, Salvadora persica and Artemisia annua. The thesis topic was the chemistry and pharmacology of some medicinal plants used in the Middle East. - Received a graduate fellowship from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology for financial support during my studies at the university.
- Five academic years of studies in all aspects of pharmaceutical sciences, such as pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutics, biochemistry, chemistry of natural products, toxicology and medical microbiology.
