- Provide coating system recommendations based on project specifications, service conditions, and required durability levels (C1-CX according to ISO 12944).
- Assist customers with technical inquiries regarding TDS, MSDS, certifications, and product selection.
- Evaluate competitor products and propose equivalent or superior solutions.
- Support sales teams with technical insights for tenders and project submissions.
- Review project specifications, BOQs, drawings, and standards to determine compliance with company products.
- Prepare compliance sheets, technical submittals, method statements, and coating procedures.
- Ensure that coating systems meet international standards (ISO, ASTM, NORSOK, SSPC, API).
- Conduct site visits to inspect surface preparation, coating application, and curing conditions.
- Troubleshoot coating failures, provide root-cause analysis, and propose corrective actions.
- Perform adhesion tests, DFT measurements, porosity checks, and other QC procedures.
- Deliver technical training to applicators, and contractors on product features, application techniques, and safety.
- Issue technical reports after site inspections or failure investigations.
- Maintain updated product documentation, certifications, and technical data sheets.
- Track new industry standards and competitor developments.
