In this role, I oversee all facets of operational supply chain business functions in KSA, delivering senior-level operational support to Salam Supply team and deputise for the Head of Supply - Salam.
Highlights of my daily responsibilities include:
Direct all Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & People (SQCDP) functions. Ensure complex, shifting operational readiness and fleet availability targets are met through dexterous oversight of AOG cell, spares and repairs, consumable services operations, demand planning and forecasting, and forward operations. Coordinate planning, execution, and continuous improvement of material management strategy, processes, systems, and governance. Formulate and implement operational processes and reporting matrices, driving streamlined, effective supply chain operations. Supervise and coach world-class supply chain team - including managers - in timely, under budget completion of material management capability and governance initiatives.
I manage project operations For King Abdullah Port, including supply chain planning, inventory analysis, demand forecasting, import/export logistics, and sales & operations planning. Along with this, I direct contract management, site performance, cost/utilisation oversight, asset optimisation, investment proposal drafting, and follow-up. I supervise warehouse operations to improve material storage, product safety, and space utilisation, whilst optimising existing business processes and prioritise backlog for regional and global business units by leading cross-functional teams.
• Delivered essential customer insights to management, aligning service delivery with client expectations.
• Administered trade delivery costs through route planning and optimisation, prioritising chemical/dangerous cargo safety.
• Co-ordinated with Customs Clearance Agents and Freight Forwarding Agencies to ensure efficient clearances and timely transportation.

In this role, I designed Warehouse Operations Systems encompassing product supervision, storage, equipment usage, inventory, gate processes, and shipping. Furthermore, I orchestrated logistics and warehousing operations for better business service delivery, as well as drove supply chain operations including movement, distribution, storage, route planning, budget analysis, and shipment processing. Additionally, I developed reports, whilst overseeing warehousing and logistics P&L. I also maintained annual budgeting, increased space utilisation, and upheld health, safety, hygiene, and security standards.
• Kept unhealthy stock at 2.5%, below target of 5%.
• Surpassed KPI targets, including OTIF, cost, and inventory management.
• Selected for the 2018 Talent Programme, undertaking two-year study in Denmark.
• Optimised five Saudi Arabian warehouses, ensuring 98% OTIF and monthly delivery of 1.5M litres to customers.
