Project: Muscat international airport (MC2), the project contains the following buildings and structures: Air traffic control tower(100m height), crash fire rescue, data centre, air traffic & meteorology complex, Contingency &Training
1. acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives;
2. checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
3. liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
4. liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress;
5. day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;
6. planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
7. overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site;
preparing reports as required;
8. resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
1. Responsible for all activities related to site and supervise the site engineers
2. Act as Company’s representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the execution of the project.
3. Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
4. Follow up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
5. Oversee establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
6. Provide leadership and direction to all project operations, including scheduling of in-house and /or subcontracted work.
7. Responsible for overall projects management
8. Monitor all work progress on a day-to-day basis to ensure conformance with schedule, contract documents and project budgets.
9. Manage multiple resources and maintain current knowledge of project and respond to administrative and technical inquiries.
10. Schedule, attend, and participate in all projects construction meetings
11. Prepare and write construction projects plans (CPPs) and proposals
12. Participate in Subcontractors selection and contract awards
13. Review and monitor submittals and shop drawings
14. Monitor general condition costs and maintain cost and budget controls
15. Ensure all deliverables are of the highest quality
16. Assure compliance with contractual requirements
17. Ensure all elements of plans and specifications meet cost and schedule requirements
18. Maintain change orders management log
19. Develop methods for tracking materials and resources
20. Order, implement, act and complete all the procurement of the project as per Company policy.

Project: Omdurman water treatment plant, project contains: Intake, pre-sedimentation clarifiers, flat bottom clarifiers, filter, chlorine&contact tanks, dry beds, reservoir, 32km pipe lines
Job Description:
1. Assist Site Manager in Daily management of subcontractors
2. Quality control of civil and building construction works including inspection of earthworks, reinforcement; formwork, concreting, piping installation, 3. Ensure correct water tightness testing of tanks, non-destructive tests when it require.
4. Follow up work progress as per Project Schedule.
5. Ensure that works are construct to the correct line &level &that all cast in pipes, ducts are correctly positioned.
6. Discuss and issuing non conformance reports (NCR) & ensures compliance of it.
7 Co ordinate of the design & construction interface with M&E.
8. Manage the issue of free issue Materials to Subcontractors in accordance with the program
9. Assist in approval of construction materials
10. Record all changes and compile As built Drawings
11. Support the Safety Manager in safety & environmental issues.
1.Managing, supervising and visiting contractors on site and advising on civil engineering issues.
2. Developing detailed designs;
3. Communicating and liaising effectively with architects, subcontractors, contracting civil engineers, consultants, and clients;
4. Thinking both creatively and logically to resolve design and constructing problems.
5. Managing changes, as the client may change his or her mind about the design. Ensuring relevant parties are notified of changes in the project.
6. Compiling, checking and approving reports.
7. Checking contractors progress reports, invoices, claims, variations orders.
8. Reviewing and approving project drawings.
9. Adopting all relevant requirements around issues such as building permits, environmental regulations, sanitary design, good manufacturing practices
and safety on all work assignments.
10. Ensuring that a project runs smoothly and that the structure is completed on time and within budget.
