1) Installation Team: Supporting the effort of installing Network and System hardware in each site by supervising subcontractor engineers. Review and check communication drawings, office layout, and server room rack assembly.
2) Integration Team: Responsible about both Video Tele Conference (VTC) and Voice Over IP (VOIP) integration activities in multiple sites. Supporting System Integration group on integrating system management software e.g. VMware, Active Directory, and McAfee. In addition, helping System team to run Performance Testing as part of the integration checkout.
3) Test and Validation Team: Running the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for each sites and supporting the activity of the Operational System Acceptance Test (OSAT)
4) Training Team: Supporting the team in any area of my expertises by working with instructors to generate slides and hands on training.
As a System Engineer working on a C4I System:
1- Working on Test and Integration activities.
2- Reviewing technical requirements and updating deliverable customer documents.
3- Reporting technical and performance issue to the Software Team.
4- Taking and reporting Performance Measurements to team lead.

Perform IT technical service delivery role including: Implement IT solutions both hardware and software to users in the program. Perform problem isolation and resolution for user IT issues. Implement and support Windows XP and Windows 7 desktop environment, Windows 2008 servers, Video Teleconferencing, LAN-WAN infrastructure, telephony and Blackberry technologies. Identify and isolate technical issues and initiate action as appropriate. Consult with business partners to resolve complex international IT problems and issues. Represent organization in technical forums and projects. Analyze installation and problem management performance data to increase quality and reduce variation and rework. Document and deploy technical processes and procedures. Collaborate with service providers, technical design teams, peer organizations, and customer IS focal organizations to satisfy IT requirements.

My duties as IT technical support engineer is to support the BAE Systems IT infrastructure at its Riyadh HQ.

Seconded into the BAE Systems prime contractor organization, reporting to the C4ISR Computer Subsystem Manager. Duties included conducting system and software design requirements analysis, software engineering approaches to integrated complex COTS-based software solution, and verifying that the implementation methods being utilised by the Lockheed-Martin subcontractor were in accordance with the overarching systems and software design methodologies. This work contributed to significantly improve the supportability of the complex integrated solution, and assuring the Computer Subsystem Manager of the work methods employed by LM.
Key tasks:
Provide design maturity for the Computer subsystem to the MODA Project Office customer.
Conduct and manage technical requirements, and Computer Subsystem design to ensure testability and integration success against the acceptance criteria.
Support the CSM in technical meetings and working groups held with the senior MODA Project Office team.
Install, integrate and validate the computer subsystem components at the MODA HQ.

Seconded into LM (via the BAE Systems prime contractor) to gain detailed understanding of the software implementation methods used to integrate the COTS-based solution. Duties included supporting the Quality Assurance Dry Runs for the final build of the system, to validate the software requirements. Additionally, on behalf of the Computer Subsystem Manager, held design meetings with senior LM software design team to validate the Interface Control Document (ICD), Software Engineering Environment and System/Software Engineering Manual issues.
