Conduct assessments to identify and qualify vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Draft and distribute RFPs to potential vendors, outlining the specifications and requirements for products or services needed.
Perform detailed cost analyses to identify optimal procurement options aligned with budget constraints and quality standards.
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous contract terms and conditions.
Keep procurement activities compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure the purchased materials meet all necessary quality metrics.
Oversee the entire ordering process, from initial requisition to final delivery, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
Maintain and nurture relationships with suppliers for long-term partnership and potential cost savings.
Serve as the point of contact between engineering departments and suppliers to clarify technical specifications or resolve issues.
Administer supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring they meet both short-term needs and long-term strategic goals.
o Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
o Monitor materials flow to identify bottlenecks and forecast problems.
o Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.
o Receiving sales orders and check BOM with, technical departments if available.
o Following up with procurement for material arrival dates.
o Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
o Reporting over consumption material monthly basis.
o Review daily raw material stocks.
o Daily report for critical material
o Handle the Materials Resource Planning (MRP) requirements periodically.
o Coordinate with production planning team to develop production plan requirements in a reasonable
time.
o Assist production planning team in updating production plan according to availability of requirements.
o Monitor materials flow to identify bottlenecks and forecast problems.
o Update the BOM (Bill of Materials) system.
o Participating in launching ODOO ERP System.
o Inventory improvement and following up.
o NPIs report (that shows slow moving and non performing inventory).
o Responding to breakdowns.
o Implement periodic maintenance which resulting to minimize the breakdowns.
o Supervising technical staff.
o Dealing with mechanical equipment, pneumatic system, boiler and electrical control room.
o Supervising spare parts inventory and making the MRP.
