•Provide informal professional and technical guidance to Specialists and review their work for accuracy/quality as required;
Administer the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for payroll as per the guidelines prescribed by Department of Finance to ensure timely payment of salaries, pensions and other benefits to all employees in AADC;
• Contribute (as required) to identify areas of improvement in terms of payroll processes, use of technology etc. and work (in coordination with ICT Division) to implement any changes;
Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary
•Training the Department’s employees on the HRMs system processes
•Entering employees’ monthly data into (HRMS) Human Resources Management System.
•Preparing Monthly Variations “Earnings & Deductions“and entering into the HRMS.
•Liaising with Internal, External, and Government auditors.
•Liaising with the Regulatory Advisor and international Consultants.
•Daily contacts with all levels employees for payroll related matters.
•Contacts with counter employees in Group Companies.
•Comprehensive support & direction of the department’s staff.
•Satisfying Management's ad hoc requirements and reporting.
•Reviewing new employee's variation form, checking the data entered into the system for enrollment purpose as well as reconciliation of entered data & ensuring that all information entered tallies with variation form.
•Reviewing the change of status for employees, such as change of grade, number of children, etc. as entered by the Human Resources Department.
•Receiving Monthly Variations “Earning & Deduction” from Human Resources.
•Affecting termination for the terminated employee’s service in the HRMS.
•Preparing End of Service Vouchers for Department of Finance.
•Preparing Journal Voucher for Payroll.
•Making End of service Benefit for terminated expatriate employees and retired local employees.
•Making Payroll run.
