In charge of GCC Interconnection Authority and its US$ 1.5 Billion 400kV Electricity Super-Grid interconnecting the Power grids of the six GCC states, availing exchange and trade of electric power between GCC states National Grids, in addition to emergency support during grid incidents, and establishment of the GCC Power Market, which will be expanded thru regional interconnections to regional electricity markets in Asia, Africa and Europe.

In charge of the core operations of the Authority, namely: system operations, Asset management and power trade; as well as being in charge of the strategy plan development and implementation.
