2. Provide a comprehensive personnel advisory service to all plant managers and staff to ensure that the company follows best practice in the management of its staff and to ensure compliance with legal requirements by ensuring any helpful tactics to all company staff.
3. Participate to build plant employee relations with management, including negotiating with employee representatives on personnel issues and grievances to ensure that harmonious relationships and effective communications are maintained between management and staff.
4. Audit plant’s employees attendance and all types of leaves (days in lieu, overtime, penalties) and communicate with employees if verifications are needed to have an up to date database and making it easier for Departments to know each employee’s status.
5. Setup time evaluation rules and monitor their impact on staff attendance by tracing employee’s leave in order to ensure the system is working correctly.
6. Implementing salary structure and grading system.
7. Design and implement programs for HR branding.
8. Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on existing benefits.
9. Design and implement benefits programs.
10. Work on SAP Reporting system.
11. Job profiling, Job evaluations and grading system in cooperation with Job Master
12. Issuing detailed monthly analysis report to the Top management clarifying all Salaries
13. Overseeing the preparation of the monthly and off-cycles Payroll using SAP System
14. Overseeing and controlling the preparation of Private Pay Sheets “Rewards, Deductions, Profit Share, Incentives and Overtime”.
15. Overseeing all Transfers, New Hires, Terminations, and Layoffs & Promotion Movements for all Company employees.
16. SAP Key user Personnel Administration & Payroll & Organizational Management
17. Follow up and communicate with the HR Department to update and implement HR Group policy by performing orientation regarding HR rules including rules for new comers and renewal of the annual contracts for staff.
18. Ensure the monthly payroll activities for business units “plants" are delivered on timely, clear and correct manner based on the group policy.
19. Ensure that Egyptian Steel job descriptions for plant are drafted and job evaluations for all roles are graded and ensure employees transitioning are placed in the right roles, section and department based on the organization needs and staff capabilities.
20. Manage the annual manpower planning process and recruitment activities and review the manpower/ recruitment plans as submitted to the Recruitment Section in head Quarter and managing the cost centers.
21. Assist in the development and monitor the implementation of HR strategies to ensure all is being met and reviewing any problems that halt any development.
22. Follow up salaries rates and benefits offered by other employers in the same sector by researching constantly to give a view of whether or not Egyptian Steel is closely in the same range as the other companies, and conduct regular reviews of the compensation and benefit programs by reviewing the benefits plans, and propose updates to existing benefits or introducing new benefits subject to review by the HR Director.
23. Develop and implement new benefit packages, ensure that these are current and competitive in line with legal requirements to give Egyptian Steel an edge and push it in the market as an excellent employer.
