I have 17 Years of experience as Operation, Maintenance, and Pre-commissioning & Commissioning engineer in Oil & Gas, onshore sites and Steam power stations & Diesel engine Power station, Substations.
Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance for the electrical equipment in the site including (substation, transformers, CBs, motors, UPS, Batteries, Diesel generator, switchgears, MCC, Protection Relays, GIS switchgears up to 500KV, Scheme review……. etc.).
Participate in commissioning and modification, conduct periodic survey and carry out maintenance schedule for the electrical equipment, troubleshooting for different equipment, Supervise and coaching electrical technician
Reviewing documentation, Schematic diagram (power circuit, control circuit, Electrical, Mechanical interlock circuit breakers, Protection coordination and S.C calculation…etc.)
Familiar with switchgear (change over between main power source and emergency diesel generator, rack out & rack in circuit breaker, Electrical diagram) and take all necessary action in electrical issue during the night shift
Working in many oil & gas projects and power generation & distribution projects leading the commissioning team who is responsible of testing the electrical system up to the energization.
Analysis and diagnostic as necessary, improvement the production follow up and test the logic of equipment.
Provide accurate and clear communications and instructions to other operations team personnel to coordinate and enable the achievement of team targets.
Familiar with PTW “permit to work” classifications (Hot, cold, excavation, confined space and electrical isolation certificate), lockout tag out station & JSA “job safety analysis.
Reviewing the procedures and modify if need, prepare new procedures for new task.
Responsible for Safe operation, startup & shutdown for the site.
