Served as a key member of the development team developing a new Enterprise Data Warehouse platform and support the transitioning into BAU.
Develop, administer and support the SQL servers that produce daily Management Information (MI) used throughout the business. Develop Business Intelligence solutions and business models to assist and support the growth of the company.
Developing a set of information and reporting systems such as:
1- Report request system.
2- Simulation of "Nitaqat" system.
3- Revenue stream prediction system.
Tasks:
• Building and supporting efficient, stable, usable reports.
• Ensuring the availability of SQL, Datazen and SharePoint servers and providing third line support.
• Provide a predictive vision for labor market.
• Monitor the rules and process threats.
• Testing and validating changes and new developments.
• Advising colleagues on the best way to provide MI.
• Producing cash flow forecasts.
• Playing an active role in Data and Analytics delivery as part of the Analytics business area.
• Developing insights for the respective business units.
Support running Data Warehouse for one of largest telecommunication corporations in Egypt (Etisalat Misr) and managing security and 24/7 ETL support.
Provide the NBA application with the subscribers behavior.
Integrate with the NBA DB to push a daily unique record for subscribers to provide the appropriate offers for Etisalat subscription base.
List the subscriber’s active offers to avoid repeating the same offers for subscribers who already subscribed.
Integrate with the SIS application DB to push monthly data for the new activation, renewal, and other commissioning events based on the sales defined criteria.
Maintain the integrity between the DWH and SIS application.
Analyze the data and provide consultancy when required in case of data discrepancy.
Provide the GIS application with sell through data along with the dealers, second and third rated calls along with the calls location, subscribers usage along with rate plan and location, and other factors, to feed both the GIS portal and mobile application.
Analyze the interference ratio for the network cells.
Manipulate the cells power levels on the network to offload the most interference cells and distribute the load to the nearest cells.
Reduce the dropped calls ratio.
Solve, log and report production problems in timely manner to ensure users and management updates with production problems.
Manage all application administrative functions.
Implement system updates as per the change management process to ensure proper implementation for fixed and new deployment are timely and accurately deployed to production.
Post-production testing and successful implementation of the applied changes to ensure healthy change implementations.
Develop workarounds and propose long term Solutions for production problems where applicable to ensure minimum impact on the business for known system problems.
Manage applications users' privileges & Access (through Access Management process) to ensure systems security.
Create ETL jobs using Informatica power center to load the data from the variant sources to the Oracle based DWH.
Create Reports, Dashboards, and KPIs.
Maintain the integrity between the source data and the DWH.
Provide a third line support for the production issues in the DWH and Reports.
Institute of statistical studies and research (ISSR)
Higher professional diploma in software engineering.
Bachelor's degree in management.
