I was called by my previous company (K&A) to carry out some design review work for 3 big projects in water works in Doha.
The 3 projects are of value approximately QAR 1, 400, 000, 000, 00.
I was responsible for the design review of all Electrical Drawings, SLD's, Control Circuit Diagrams, PID Diagrams, Cable Block Diagrams, Cable Routes Diagrams, Termination Sheets Besides of Approval of Electrical Materials Submittals.
DESIGN REVIEW AND SUPERVISION OF LARGE SEWERAGE TREATMENT PLANTS WORTH MULTI MILLION DOLLARS, GUIDING THE CONTRACTORS AND APPROVING THE TESTING AND COMMISSIONING PROGRAMMES, APPROVAL OF ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION DRAWINGS AND APPROVAL OF MATERIALS TO BE USED IN TH E PLANTS.
FINAL CLOSE UP OF PROJECTS AND LAIASON WITH CLIENTS IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE WORK PLUS COORDINATING THE CONTRACTORS WORK.

Responsible for the maintenance of all facilities besides follow up of all development projects including Cold Storage Facilities Buildings, Transit Sheds, Purchase of new lifting equipment .etc within the port. Budget approximately US$380, 000, 000.00
Responsible for the design review of Electrical Building Services in multi storey buildings within the port, e.g. SLD’s, BMS, Fire alarm and fire fighting systems, Different types of cables XLPE, PVC, MICC and fibre optics, lighting systems etc.
Responsible for the review and approval of Internal and External Lighting designs prepared by the contractors and matching them with the contract requirements in relation to the standard lux and illumination levels.
Responsible for the design review of main and emergency power requirements of the suggested and ongoing Development projects.
I graduated with B.Sc. Honours in Electrical Engineering. I have attended a number of Professional seminars, workshops and training programs in U.K. , Germany, Ireland,U.A.E. Qatar,Turkey , New Zealand and Sudan
