This role participates in remote technical support of IBM HW/SW and may include the following:
- Managing all UNIX services and applications, Power System Support.
- Provides overall support and maintenance of operating system and network connectivity for all AIX systems.
- Monitors system performance and solve performance issue if any to ensure adequate response times for production servers/applications.
- Establish and documents procedures to ensure data integrity including system fail-over and Backup/Recovery.
- Provides reliable backup services, Conducts routine HW and SW audits for AIX servers for compliance with established standards, Polices, Configuration guidelines and procedures.
- Implementing and troubleshooting different AIX solutions like Packages, LVM, NIM, Multibos, WPAR, Ifix/APAR, Upgrade/Migrate, and Booting issue.
- Dump analysis to know reasons for Servers Crash/Hangs.
- Analysis of Performance issues and give recommendations to solve this issue
- PowerVM implementation and troubleshooting.
- Deal with Multi-Pathing between VIOS and different Storage vendors Like IBM, EMC, and Hitachi.
- PowerHA implementation and troubleshooting.
General Administration tasks:
- Training New comes on AIX basics, Administration, and troubleshooting techniques for different issues.
- Customer care training based on relation between IBM and customers.
- Monitor some agent’s metrics and find solutions to push them meeting their targets.
- Time management training.
- Training on how to Maintaining highest client satisfaction.

I joined this program so I can expand my knowledge in the finical, Project Management , Marketing, and Economics. I enrolled in Project Management course May 2014 Expected date to finish the Program Dec. 2016
This course is related to processes inside work, and how to improve our service quality and to maintain this service quality, also it contain service management and service design. This help me to sharp my skills in the filed of call centers and how you can plan and design a service that meet the customer requirements, also how to manage this server and maintain a good service quality.
As part from my career development inside IBM. I enrolled in Project management course to improve my skill in management and how to builds teams, to be able in the future to Lead teams and projects. I have this 50 hours course online with Skill port company from USA, including the theoretical material and some practices on project management, beside discussing how IBM look to Project managers and Project Management ?.
I joined Mansoura University to enroll in Electronics and Electrical communication department, I spent their 5 years studying some useful Information Like Signals, Networks, Microwaves, Math, and Programming Language. My overall grade was Very Good, My graduation project was in Micro strip antenna and I had an excellent grade in it . The project was about implementing a Micro strip antenna in the for of a Yagi antenna so we can Focus the signals come to the antenna and out from the antenna so this will give us a high range of frequencies covered and also more space to cover.
