Managing a team of project managers for international power generation projects +100 M $ /year, responsible for team coaching, workload analysis/distribution, projects status reporting in terms of Quality, Budget and schedule tracking, Projects risk analysis, and procedures development.
To manage Power generation projects' activities starting from receiving project data from engineering department till handing over the project to the customer
Principal Duties / Responsibilities
1. receive the project file from engineering department once project is awarded
2. Review all project data received from engineering department.
3. organize a kick of meeting with all project parties (engineering, sales, logistics application) to discuss and assign all project activities
4. organize a kick off meeting with the customer in the presence of sales engineer to discuss all shadowed points that arise after the order, organize the supplies schedule with the customer, report all customer notes and requirements
5. place orders for all project items after comparing between the suppliers
6. issue and send periodically, a Gantt chart which includes all project activities, half monthly report, to territorysales managers every two weeks, update a Profit and loss sheet accordingly
7. following with all involved departments till finalizing their activities (engineering, logistics)
8. review electrical and mechanical drawings and send them to the customer to start site works
9. prepare a CD containing all project data (manuals, wiring, layout, etc…) and hand it to application engineer who is assigned for this project
10. following with application engineer during his auditing visits and receive a daily report with site activities.
11. Attend site meetings when needed

In charge of the blasting and coating section in a steel fabrication plant that receives fabricated steel structure members and fabricated plate work from two production lines, and deliver the finished product to logistics phase to be shipped to client.
-Responsible for studying tenders, estimate coating budget required for the project after checking required specs, putting a coating plan, coating procurement schedule and work load analysis in order to decide when to use subcontractors and for how long .
- Managing subcontractors' work and rented equipment.
Perform daily inspection on the surface preparation and protective coating application on site, representing client "TOTAL" .
the project is a fuel distribution station, My role is to ensure that client specification is perfectly met, with full authority from client to accept /reject the work performed by the Main contractor (Petrojet) or any of his subcontractors
Manage clients' accounts in the oil and gas field, give support to the client by providing on-time supply of coating material, Also supervise a team of coating inspectors who provide on-site technical services for the clients in North coast and red sea territories.
• Offer technical advice about Protective Coating techniques, application methods, surface preparation standards and proper coating materials according to the exposure environment of the coating system in the form of site visits, calls, e-mails, training sessions for customer's staff.
• Working as professional coating inspector in various project types all over Egypt.
• Perform daily inspection activities on site, Weather measurements, surface preparation inspection (roughness tests, visual inspection to abrasive blasted or mechanically prepared surfaces, salt content tests for both surface and abrasive, compressor checks(plot test), surface temperatures.
• Also perform intercoat tests (adhesion, dry and wet film thickness), coat preparation, interval time for different coating types, and painting techniques suitable for different protective coating type and the desired finishing.
• Very familiar with a wide range of projects and maintenance of existing properties :
• Onshore and offshore oil rigs.
• Oil production and distribution facilities, tanks, pipelines and equipments.
• Oil Refineries.
• Industrial steel structures, power plants facilities such as stacks, boilers, furnaces ..etc.
• Chemical industries facilities, acid and alkaline tanks, equipments and transmission lines such as fertilizers.
• Inspector for contracting companies (Emc, Petroment, petrojet, MAS contracting, Man crew)
Mechanical Maintenance works for machinery of Amrya Cement factory (boilers, cranes, pumps, generators, furnaces).
