Alunile is the biggest façade engineering company in Egypt and is one of the biggest in the Middle East.
I worked as a Project Engineer in “The Presidential” and “The Cabinet of Ministers” complexes in New Alamein city,
The fast-track projects had an estimated budget of 300M USD. The projects are owned by the Egyptian government. The main contractor was Hassan Allam Construction and Alunile was a subcontractor.
During my work there:
• I reviewed project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
• I determined project specifications by studying product design, Egyptian government requirements, and performance standards.
• I completed technical studies and I prepared cost estimates.
• I determined the project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements.
• I carried out a full façade designing package and sent them for fabrication after receiving design approval from the main contractor and the project’s consultant.
• I followed up with the fabrication and installation departments to ensure a smooth installation process.
• I acted as a link between the installation team and the main contractor to plan and facilitate the installation process.
• I maintained the project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
• I prepared project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• I maintained product and company reputation by complying with law and code regulations.

Gates Trade Company specializes in producing and exporting marble. They have their own marble quarry in Egypt. The company used to export all of its marble production before deciding they want to expand into the local market.
I worked there as a Business Developer to help implement the company’s ambition.
• I carried out market research in order to develop strategies and roadmaps for sales of the company’s products and to secure more business relations.
• I analyzed potential and existing markets in order to identify business opportunities
• I developed a company website and handled the company’s accounts on different social media platforms.
• I prepared presentations, product samples, proposals and quotations for respective clients.
