Alunile is the biggest façade engineering company in Egypt and is one of the biggest in the Middle East.
I worked as a Project Engineer in “The Presidential” and “The Cabinet of Ministers” complexes in New Alamein city,
The fast-track projects had an estimated budget of 300M USD. The projects are owned by the Egyptian government. The main contractor was Hassan Allam Construction and Alunile was a subcontractor.
During my work there:
• I reviewed project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
• I determined project specifications by studying product design, Egyptian government requirements, and performance standards.
• I completed technical studies and I prepared cost estimates.
• I determined the project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements.
• I carried out a full façade designing package and sent them for fabrication after receiving design approval from the main contractor and the project’s consultant.
• I followed up with the fabrication and installation departments to ensure a smooth installation process.
• I acted as a link between the installation team and the main contractor to plan and facilitate the installation process.
• I maintained the project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
• I prepared project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• I maintained product and company reputation by complying with law and code regulations.
