MEP Operations Management
• Technical Overview: Expertise in areas of Mechanical, HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Drainage components of MEP projects
• Operations Management: Planning & execution of MEP Division’s business plan, provisioning for manpower/budgets/ resources/logistics, design office management, pre-bid design and engineering coordination, bid response planning & bidding, selection and appointment of subcontractors, procurement and vendor management, supplier/customer/external authority liaison, project dependencies management, project delivery management, division performance management, etc.
• Design & Engineering: Design & engineering of systems/solutions, specs and material/equipment selection, preparation of technical documents, preparation of project submittals, review/validation of technical submittals, securing submittals’ approvals, value engineering, inspection & testing of material/equipment, installation planning/technical support/supervision, pre-commissioning checks and commissioning, handover documentation, etc. Awareness of engineering codes & standards and regulations applicable to relevant systems; hands on experience in tender documents study, Quantity take-offs, estimation & costing, bid documentation and tendering.
• Project Management: Finalization of project execution plan with Client/Consultant/Main contractor, site mobilization, team building & task assignment, following up timely delivery of materials/equipment at site, site activity scheduling, subcontractors’ program delivery, site construction management, project coordination, QA/QC, monitoring & control of progress/expenditure/ productivity, change management, approval process management, value engineering & cost control, earned value assessment, invoicing, claims authentication, project handover & close.
• Relationship Management: Liaison, networking and communication with client/consultant/OEM/Vendors/Main contractor for respective deliverables at pre & post contract stages of projects; and fostering sustainable relationships.

1) Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management.
2) Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
3) Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
4) In consultation with the appropriate manager, recruit, interview and select staff and/or volunteers with appropriate skills for the project activities
5) Manage project staff and/or volunteers according to the established policies and practices of the organization
6) Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
7) Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
8) Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
9) Ensure resource availability and allocation
10) Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
11) Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
