. Preparing computerized Equipment Interchange Receipt (EIR) for INBOUND and OUTBOUND containers by using the port operations management Information system (PROMIS).
. Provide assistance with the shipping documentation of imports and exports.
. Use of Dubai Trade for amendments and enquiries.
. Monitor the shipment through PROMIS and Dubai Trade.
. Communicating with MECRC regarding empty container acceptance.
. Physically inspecting IMPORT and EXPORT cargo and (if required) directing the cargo to CUSTOMS inspection / MUNICIPALITY inspection.
. Handling customer enquiries.
. Handling IMDG containers with utmost care.
. Follow Agent Requests for accepting EXPORT Containers.
. Contacting customers for damage containers, demurrage and storage charges.
. Provide details to customer regarding shipments.
. Follow shipping Agents Empty Standing Instruction for accepting empty containers.
.Inspecting OOG (out of Gauge) CARGO containers & specifying its dimension in PROMIS.
. Generate / cancel the token for Empty and Export containers as requested by shipping line.
. Ensuring the smooth flow of operation without any delays.
