• Develop and maintain the commissioning standards to be used as the guidelines for the commissioning process used for all district construction, modification and deferred maintenance projects.
• Develop and maintain all the necessary documents used in the commissioning process. Develop a project specific commissioning plan for each project assigned.
• Identify, coordinate, and manage external commissioning agencies, consultants and contractors. Develop a commissioning schedule that meets the requirements of the project.
• Review drawings and make recommendations concerning constructability, reliability and maintainability Continually monitor construction activities for compliance to contract, documents and quality
• Attend project meetings for assigned projects as needed.

• Execution of testing and commissioning activities in the field of Traction Power Substations, ensuring compliance with regulations pertaining to Safety, Environmental and Health regulations.
• Planning, coordination and execution of customer and operator training, carrying out tests on protection devices, station controller and supervisory systems.
• Planning and execution of works in consideration of deadlines, budget and resources.
• Giving experience feedback for follow-up projects and lessons-learned proposals to reduce costs, to shorten time of commissioning and to optimize engineering and products.
• Close operation and coordination of all related interfaces (e.g. to customers, suppliers, installation and construction companies, internal units) with related project, product and sales departments, the regional units and the Germany headquarter.
• Interface clarification and technical integration of all electrical systems within the BSS, TPS substation.
• Technical management, planning and controlling of one’s own engineering work packages.

• Prepares documents during design development phase and detail design phases.
• Prepare engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyze operation of existing systems.
• Works with equipment suppliers/vendors to obtain the necessary information needed for design completion.
• Interacts with clients regularly to secure scope and design intent.
• Ensure acceptable levels of quality and checks for coordination of work to assure documents reflect design intent and necessary coordination.
• Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within company and externally with clients and other design professionals.
• Coordinates design work with related engineering disciplines.
• Attend job and construction meetings and participate in the coordination of the work.
