PFSO - Port facility security officer, Business continuity management & quality assurance.
Plan, execute and direct HSE Management System (MS) for major infrastructure, structural steel, earthworks, transmission, commercial and industrial projects.
• Reduced TRIF from 30% to 7% (14 % below industry standards of 21%);
•launched task specific tailgate meetings and quality toolbox meetings;
•introduced proper hazard/FLRA/group risk assessments,
• improved inspections and achieved buy-in from Operations for the HSE MS;
•implemented claims management, HSE control and Foremen specific training along with proper certifications (NCSO, COR) for all management and supervisory safety personnel
• Raised safety standard significantly through multiple new initiatives which subsequently reduced LTIs from 16 to 3 incidents annually
• Negotiated Operations buy-in and executed task specific PPE, substance abuse,
•Leading Indicator Activity Calendar and SureFit programs which contributed to a 60% decrease in safety incidents

•Bring company related health and safety matters to the attention of the Board of Directors at regular intervals
•Overseeing operations of the safety department and its employees, and conducting risk assessments and ongoing surveillance of all construction sites and implementing safety measures in areas of concern.
•Ensure adequate means of distributing and communicating health, safety and welfare information obtained for the H.S.E., Safety organization’s and Trade associations regarding new techniques of accident prevention, new legislation requirements and codes of practice etc.
