(engineering design, reviews, approvals, and stamping) on static and rotating equipment
using applicable industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements as part of the
Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company throughout the project
lifecycle from front-end engineering through detailed engineering phases of the projects.
• Led mechanical engineering design for new API 650 sour water storage tanks and
associated piping design per ASME B31.3 for ExxonMobil Imperial Oil Refinery at
Nanticoke, Canada.
• Led engineering design for fixed-water deluge spray system project using non
metallic (HDPE) piping for ExxonMobil Imperial Oil Refinery at Nanticoke, Canada
and Strathcona Refinery, Edmonton, Canada per NFPA regulatory requirements.
• Worked on engineering design of new nozzles on a 95-inch diameter refractory
lined flue gas piping for ExxonMobil Imperial Oil Refinery at Nanticoke, Canada.
• Led mechanical engineering design for vegetable oil co-processing facility at
ExxonMobil Imperial Oil Refinery at Nanticoke, Canada with design specifications
for ASME BPVC Sec VIII Div. 1 pressure vessels, TEMA Heat Exchanger, API 610
Centrifugal pumps, and PEP RESM-003 Mixer. Worked as a for biodiesel blending facility for Shell
Sarnia terminal, Canada involving a new ULC-S601 horizontal storage tank, API
610 centrifugal pumps and ASME B31.3 piping. Worked as a and
for two API-650 Jet-A1 fuel storage tanks at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Currently working on design of new rubber-lined pipeline rehabilitation project for
Shell Canada.
• Reviewed various API 653 inspection reports including Non-Destructive
Examination (NDE) reports.
• Performed piping stress analysis using CAESAR II engineering software for various
piping design projects.
• Analyzed vessel nozzle stresses using WRC 107/537/297 calculations and
NozzlePro software.

Responsibilities & Major Projects: To provide technical support as a mechanical engineer
for engineering design projects across province of Ontario, Canada using applicable
codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Performed ASME Sec VIII Div. 1 calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as
per ASME Sec VIII Div. 2 Part 5 rules for four 60-year-old used pressure vessels,
including development of technical report as per CSA B51 Annex-J requirements,
for successful registration with TSSA in Ontario.
• Evaluated foam-water sprinkler system for a chemical storage facility using NFPA
11, 13, 16 and 30 guidelines. Developed a detailed technical report for Burlington,
Canada city permit application process.

Projects: To lead assembly line (group of 20 technicians),
provide technical support, and develop manufacturing processes for Waukesha
reciprocating gas-engines using lean six sigma principles.
• Reduced product cycle time by half through process improvement delivering
increased productivity.
• Led 3 major failure analyses, using FMEA and RCFA techniques including fish
bone technique.

& Major Projects: To provide technical support as a mechanical engineer
on static and rotating equipment (machinery) using applicable codes, standards, and
regulatory requirements for Shell (midstream sector) and ExxonMobil Imperial Oil
Refinery (downstream sector).
• Designed 3 pressure vessels for Imperial Oil Canada using COMPRESS software.
• Developed heat transfer calculations spreadsheet for bitumen storage tanks for
Rain Carbon, Hamilton.

Responsibilities & Major Projects: Part of Engineering Services team for the first 2.5
years with a goal to lead facilities engineering design projects from scoping phase to
detailed engineering for United Energys upstream business. Part of Maintenance &
Reliability team for next 2.5 years on a Fly-in, Fly-out field position to ensure smooth
operation of plant with minimum static & rotating equipment downtime at United
Energys upstream business. Led maintenance team (50 technicians) in preventative &
corrective maintenance of installed rotating and static equipment at site including start
up planning and commissioning activities.
• Reviewed opportunities and proposed design solutions resulting in enhanced plant
production capacity.
• Developed scoping & engineering of all gas facility Capex and Opex projects
including HAZOP studies.
• Provided engineering support for various ongoing projects using Management of
Change (MOC) process.
• Planned & executed multiple successful overhauls for Waukesha / Caterpillar
reciprocating gas engines and Ariel reciprocating compressors in close
coordination with construction & production teams.
• Led execution of multiple oil & gas process plant turnaround activities including
material & resource planning, development of job plans along with respective task
risk assessments.

Responsibilities & Major Projects: To support senior design engineer for 6 months and
operations team leader for 6 months as part of BPs international training program for
engineering graduates.
• Performed API 579 Level-1 Fitness-for-Service integrity analysis of 40 high risk oil
& gas wellhead pipelines and recommended de-rating, re-rating, or replacement of
pipelines as per requirement.
