- To support the customer for their technical problems pertaining to HVAC/R
- To make RCCA for every compressor failure at the site.
- To support sales engineer for any technical inquiries about HVAC & Refrigeration System.
- To make compressor cross reference for the customer when necessary including design of the refrigeration system.
-To attend Toolbox meetings to establish scope of work activities such as safety requirements permits to work, special tools and materials
-To prepare preventive maintenance to those Air-conditioning units such as chillers (chilled water, air-cooled reciprocating/screw type), split type, window type, cassette type, Air handling Units.
-Monitoring PPM for wide range of equipment on weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi and annually basis.
-Planning of manpower required for the project and also planning various activities pertaining to HVAC.
-Generating of reports and preparing various schedules and programs required by the clients.
-To review building plans, drawings, specifications & ascertaining scope of works.
-Perform trouble shooting of HVAC control panel such as BMS, ABB controls, LANDIS and STEAFA controls, DDC HONEYWELL control panel for different types of chiller, performed modification if need to do so.
-Responsible for the complete management and supervision of the HVAC project including knowledge in design, planning for the successful execution of DX or Chilled water system project either replacement or new installation such as Chilled water piping, Ductworks, HVAC equipment installation.
-Allocate effective manpower distribution and prepare material take-off for the required materials needed at site, coordination with Store/ Procurement Dept.
-Attending site coordination meeting with Client, Consultant and Main contractor.
-Prepared Materials Submittals, Method of Statement, Equipment list Operation and Maintenance manual.
-Ensuring stringent adhere to ISO 9000:2008 quality standards, norms & practices, trouble shooting and taking corrective actions.
- Assembly and installation of parts of heating & cooling system of HVAC heatpumps/refrigeration system.
- Knowledge in welding (silver brazing), leak quality testing of cooling/heating system and vacuum of system.
- Knowledge in electro/mechanical wiring, diagrams & controls of air-con or heat pumps and chilled pumps.
-Have adequate experience and technical knowledge in centralized air conditioning system, Air-cooled water chiller up to 270 tons (Carrier Package Type Unit) with reciprocating and screw type compressors.
- Prepare preventive maintenance of air handling units by greasing, change filters, belt alignment, sleeved and bearing replacement.
-Knowledge in design, planning for successful execution of DX or chilled water projects including replacement or new installations such as Chilled water piping, ductworks HVAC equipment installation, water balancing, air balancing, assistance during testing commissioning and handling over etc.
- To review building plans, drawings, specifications & ascertaining scope of works
-Evaluates existing field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunction.
-Able to read and understand mech. (Plumbing & FF) drawings & specs.
-Have the knowledge and capability of diagnosing, analyzing and troubleshooting faults and malfunction related to the above intentioned disciplines.
-To undertake and manage repair and minor works associated with the installed HVAC services.
-Experience with split, window and cassette system comfort cooling, chilled water systems, Air handling units, DX systems, dehumidification and humidification.
-Complies with the proper operating procedures of safety and health standards and regulations.
-Initiate source inspection, installation, start up and qualifies equipment for automation.
-Identify key equipment parameters and provide lockdown for equipment process improvement.
-Prepares engineering design & drawing including schematic diagram.
-Achieve and develop the quality objectives and targets of the department consistent with the business plan.
-Properly oriented to multi-tasking jobs.
-Monitoring of hourly production rates, downtimes, and machine failures
-Making reports to Equipment engineer during machine failure
-Perform pre-flight check before starting to operate to avoid machine failure at a smallest chance
-Perform statistical process control to lessen the cause of production problem with in the machine and improved the production rate per hour.
