SKILL HIGHLIGHTS
A seasoned Chemical Engineering Professional with 8 years of diverse experience in Process Industry - covering Erection, Commissioning and Operations vis-à-vis process design and in addition Plant safety including HAZOP and SIL.
I am currently serving as a Sr. Chemical Engineer on a newly installed 650 T/D Polymer Plant (PP-III) and was involved in the (Main Process Stream) with German technology provided by LURGI in the recognition of my good working with my Managers (Production Manager, Area Manager, SDM) and overall process Team, So with an attribution of good worker and team player with interpersonal skills I was transferred to PP-III on December, 2012 during Plant Erection phase.
In fact I was working at PP-I (Capacity 200 T/D) ever since my career start-up in this very Organization (Ibrahim Fibres Limited). Since the inception of this new project of IFL-III (PP-III) out of already existing 2 Polymer production projects i.e. PP-I & PP-II, I have been involved in it in various capacities ranging from a Process Engineer to a Team Lead. PP-III started on dated: 10th February, 2013, Feed was introduced to First Reactor (Esterification stage-I) and to down-stream. This was the brief overview of my career.
Key areas of expertise include but are not limited to:
Understanding about Process Standards: API Standards, ASME codes (For piping),
TEMA standards (For Heat Exchanger design), ASTM Standards.
Hot Oil system; Santotherm being the HTM (Heat Transfer Media) using in
HTM Furnaces for heating up the plant requirements. Temperature up to 330C
Production Planning and Scheduling.
Commissioning, Start-up Management.
Work permit System Cold, Hot, Vessel Entry, Confined Space, Excavation permits.
Providing assistance to Management regarding Risk reducing techniques to ALARP
Participating in Technical safety reviews like HAZOP, SIL
Standard Operating Procedures Development from LURGI provided plant operating Manuals.
Leadership and Team Management.
ISO-9001 2008(E) QMS Development and implementation throughout the Organization.

As an individual; I am self-motivated, resourceful and highly adaptable towards exigent roles.
I passed my bachelors degree in chemical engineering with distinction. I have been the group leader in the final years project. I awarded good remarks by my immediate boss in the job and stood also first in my current job tests regarding API'S and also remained first in the preparation of plant PID'S and awarded good remarks by my senior production manager. and gave me 100% Marks. Also remained a good student throughout my career in student life.
