Job Descriptions and Responsibilities:
➢ Carryout PPM job, Reactive work job and troubleshoot(repair, disassemble, and assemble) machines and equipment’s like centrifugal and submersible pumps, diaphragm pumps, positive displacement air blowers, PVC pipeline, reciprocating air compressor, AC motor, valves, fans, flanges and etc.
➢ Carry out daily work routine of STP operator (MBR system and conventional) like daily reading and writing down the flow meters, operate sewage treatment plant process, filling chemicals to dosing pot, switch-On the irrigation pump, checking the tank level and volume sludge, conduct sample test (chlorine, ph and ammonia), cleaning the tanks, and housekeeping in all work areas.
➢ Coordinate other Contractor and Sub-contractor team on installing mechanical equipment’s and upgrading the MRB system Plant of Water Sewage Treatment.
➢ Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints and other drawings in industrial establishments.
➢ Dismantle and assemble machinery and equipment using a variety of hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
➢ Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on power tools and hand tools.
➢ Move machinery and equipment using hoists, cranes, chain falls and trucks.
➢ Align machinery and equipment using hoists, squares, rules, micrometers, dial indicators.
➢ Determine equipment specifications and prepare parts lists for purchasing, consisting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic and pneumatic devices as needed.
➢ Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, equipment and supplies.
➢ Adhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner.
➢ Adhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
➢ Monitor the physical condition of mechanical equipment’s and plan the required maintenance to be carried out.
➢ Investigate the defects and apply corrective actions in a timely manner to reduce downtime and maximize equipment availability.
➢ Prepare regular reports, as per job cards reactive received, describing the nature of work completed, spare parts used for repairing, and other information related to the job.
➢ Performed minor welding and fabrication tasks.
➢ Order spare parts and consumables to maintain an adequate supply for use in the area and keep record.
➢ Perform other work activities such as preparation of documents, writing reports, site measurements, maintaining of spare parts and transportation of materials.
➢ Maintain the good housekeeping in all areas around the plant to keep tidy, clean and safe work surroundings, and carrying out general workshop duties.
➢ Perform diagnosis basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Equipment’s/Machines Operated:
➢ PUMPS (Multistage, centrifugal and submersible pumps)
➢ BLOWER main used to process the aeration tank by giving air from blower
➢ COMPRESSOR used for supply compressed air to the solenoid valve
➢ CHEMICAL DOSING PUMP to dose chorine to tank
➢ WELDING MACHINE for repairing and fabrication of the equipment and etc.
➢ HAND DRILL used for drilling holes
➢ GRINDER used for cutting and grinding materials
➢ ACETYLENE AND OXYGEN CUTTING used for cutting metals
➢ MULTITESTER to check amps, hertz and volts
➢ CALIPER to measure small size parts
➢ RATCHET, COMBINATION AND CLOSE WRENCH.
➢ WORKSHOP TOOLS
Proficiency of using mechanical workshops tools and also some in electrical tools.
Performed setting-up auxiliary parts of the machine like gears, belts, pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, water hoses, valves, and etc.
Filling oils to gear boxes, draw stands rollers, HCU’s, and hydraulic cylinder according to its ISO standard types of oil.
Coordinate with the vendor of Reimotec Company from Germany on commissioning, operating automation systems using PLC drives and turn over the operation.
Has hands-on experience in control systems, implementing preventive & corrective maintenance procedures.
Operate the PET STRAPPING TAPE LINE machines and execute remedies of possible alarms on the PLC existed.
Set-up new parameters on Control Panel programs like speed, temperature, size and capacity for new production size as requested order by costumer. Also setting up new program parameters of the winder machines as changing in production sizes, and if any program error exist in each machine immediately take diagnosis, calibrating and fixing the error.
Facilitate troubleshooting of the machine for any possible trouble that may exist.
Such as:
Removing of the worn out bearings and replacing new Tapered roller bearings of the Crusher Machine. Dismantling old blunt blades and replacing, fixing and aligning new blades of the Crusher Machine.
Removing damage endless weighing belt, then replacing, aligning and calibrating new endless weighing belt.
Dismantling, replacing and fixing the hydraulic seal for gear box drive for extruder, booster pump, repairing centrifugal and blower pump, cooler fan.
Repairing the gasket seals of the blower suction at the hopper unit.
Removing the damage timing belts and replacing new spare timing belts of the air compressor.
Diagnosis and troubleshoot pneumatic cylinder when it is malfunctioning.
Repair the broken stopper plate and cover of the hopper receiver.
Open suggestions of new ideas to the manager in order to improved the productivity and lessen the material cost.
Prepare the routine work assignment and monitor the work.
Take the weekly and monthly servicing of maintenance work schedule based on preventive maintenance.
Cleaning the blower suction filters, air dryer filters, metal detector, spraying nozzles, embossing roller, fins of chiller.
Draining old and refilling new lubrication oil of the compressor, and cleaning filters if found too dirty enough it replace new as necessary.
Change oil gear boxes, heating and cooling units.
Draining dirty water, cleaning inside the tank and refilling new water in the tanks of the chiller unit used for cooling the system in the plant.
Overhauling, cleaning and reassembling the water heat exchangers.
Writing down all the spare parts to be requested in warehouse for urgent use and future use.
Keep production area clean and safe for smooth operation.
Monitor the condition of each part of the machines (temperatures, pressures, and rpm) like blower suction, vacuum pump, crystallizer, extruder, booster pump, screen changer, die head, water bath, stretching oven, draw stands, annealing oven, cooling channel, chiller, compressor and winders.
Supervise the laborers to make sure that everyone is working on their assigned tasks accordingly and explaining technical problems to non technical colleagues.
En-charge of warehouse during night shifts and maintains records of materials entering and leaving the warehouse.
Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
Develop, supervise and maintain a safety program for all workers assigned.
Provide employee training when necessary and give guidance to Assistant or Trainee staff in the team to aid their development.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
