Sr. Protection, Gender & Inclusion Officer;
main roles and responsibilities:
* Conduct protection mainstreaming training for
oxfam Staff and CBOs staff
* Prepare protection updates for Oxfam situation
reports
* Develop and build a referral mapping for the
oxfam Host community office
* Support the PM in preparing and updating the risk assessment
* Develop capacity building plans for CBOs
* Conduct Gender Awareness training for Oxfam
staff and CBOs FPs
* Develop an Empowerment plan for each IBV with
disability
* Conduct regular safeguarding workshops for IBVs
in each rotation
* Receive and handle safeguarding cases
* Handle GBV cases and refer them to other
services
* Develop inclusion SOPs for Oxfam projects
Protection and Psychosocial Officer- Azraq camp:
my main responsibilities included:
* recruited & supervised protection & PSS volunteers in Azraq Camp.
* Provided Psychosocial Support & protection
Group Sessions for Female refugees and youth in
Azraq camps.
* Conducted 1:1 consultation for volunteers and
beneficiaries.
* Initiated ERs & PRs for Protection required
materials.
* Ensured timely referral of cases in need for
further support.
* Provided block-level PSS\ GBV activities.
* Developed outreach plans for potential
protection beneficiaries.
* Provided structured, unstructured, and
recreational group sessions for adult
beneficiaries.
* Conducted GBV prevention & Gender awareness
sessions.
* Supported in translating manuals from English to
Arabic language.
* Contributed to the adapting of manuals due to
Covid- 19 situation.
* Supported protection team leader in submitting
and developing protection monthly plans on time.
* Conducted virtual staff self-care sessions for
colleagues during the pandemic
- Conducted psychosocial assessments for children, women to identify the psychosocial needs and
services;
▪ Developed an intervention plan according to the needs of each case in order to achieve the goals of
the offered service;
▪ Provided individual or group counseling for cases according to the intervention plan;
