Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for bulk product returns to vendors, project cargo / oil field drilling equipment, container clearances, “load out plan”, and issuance of sailing instructions.
• Overseeing entire custom documentation involving successful completion of relevant import and export procedures for Air and Sea, Internal Transfers & Distribution of Import Goods, verification of daily Bills of Lading, Certificates of Analysis, and Freight Forwarding.
• Keeping continuous liaison with different customs officials to resolve shipment matters, issuance of shipping instructions, L/Cs, tracking of shipments, and resolving matters pertaining warehouse management.
• Interfacing with customers to look into and solve different problems faced by them including order documents, shipments, entering of sales contracts, processing of demurrage claims, commissions, debiting and crediting, and following up with reminders for collection of outstanding amounts.
• Managing cargo for re-export and re-import through Air and Sea for oil and gas equipments, consolidating delivery of cargo requests, keeping track of product inventory and month end sales.
• Preparing freight for transport, quarantine preparation, managing local transport matters, handling materials, and overseeing loading.
• Ensured accomplishment of operational activities on daily basis involving supervision of contractors to achieve different tasks involving updating registers, replying to importers and exporters, and handling of other correspondence.
• Followed up with logistics department to guarantee on time delivery of orders while maintaining constant follow up to handle customer queries and eradicate any issues faced.
• Coordinating between forwarders and vendors for shipping arrangement, filing organized reports, creating filing system for keeping documents, and keeping them updated.
