▪ Part of the Deutsche Bank Transformation Factory team and currently tasked to deliver a single initiative over the period of 3 years from 2018 that aims at reducing cost to the bank by application transformation and hardware refresh with a target to reduce 96% Solaris cores. This involved migrating close to ~800 applications comprising of c 6, 600 CIs over the course of 6-9 months with an additional 2-3 months to decommission the underlying hardware to achieve the financial benefits. The program also had regulatory requirements to eliminate legacy operating systems (AIX and Solaris) reducing operational risk, complexity and operational run costs. Highlights include:
✔ Achieved €5 million in year benefits by migrating close to ~3000 CIs constituting to 50% of the overall DB estate across various platforms mostly Virtual Hosting Server (VHS), Database Hosting Services (DHSO), Physical x86 and Sybase environments. C. 2, 300 SPARC cores removed.
✔ Lowered the overall cost of IT operations by 20% as a result of migrations and decommission across all CIO Business units.
✔ Reduced time and effort by 30% from solution design to transforming complex applications.
✔ Introduced advanced data analytics systems and business intelligence through Tableau, PowerBI and OneMI that helped increase productivity of the team by 25%.
✔ Planned and implemented a successful agile transformation with multiple teams moving to work in distributed Scrum with DevOps mindset. To date this agile approach achieved a KPI (key performance indicator) throughput increase of 3.5%. This is an ongoing program with multiple features identified for increasing the KPIs resulting in multi-million euro savings.

▪ As Transformation Leader, I planned and delivered the Data Center Exit strategy for Deutsche Bank, which involved exit/decommission of the legacy US Data Centre real estate and subsequent transformation/migration of the applications to the a new and improved Data Centre. Also addressed regulatory issues with the Harborside DC regarding flood risks as well as a significant number of latency sensitive applications. The estate constituted of ~4, 000 CIs impacting ~ 800+ applications, primarily on Wintel/AIX/SPARC/Solaris Hosting Servers (SHS), ESX, NFS including SAN storage using EMC VMAX3.Highlights include:
✔ Implemented a set of highly-industrialized processes migrating ~ 1, 900 servers via Lift & shift, Physical to Physical migration methods to help reduce the exit time and meet the exit deadline achieving benefits of €3mn for the bank. Ensured the Bank avoided reputational damage and financial penalties.
✔ Designed and setup the Factory Command center to manage the 72 migration waves achieving a migration sustained rate of 600 CIs per month, completing ~3, 000 changes at a success rate of 99% executing close to 1, 700 runbooks and saving an implementation cost of approx US$0.3 million.
✔ Introduced Lean Six Sigma based continuous process improvements - Value stream mapping for project and change management.
✔ Developed a Revenue and Forecast Data Modelling to establish optimal operational & resource costs.
▪ Successfully led the Data Center Optimization team, and helped deploy a Python-based solution, eliminating manual efforts spent on the Data center DOMS tool with a 35% reduction on effort spent as well as reducing 2, 355 FTE hours per year.
▪ Established the EMEA Proposal Factory in India that helped transform the solutions response velocity, increasing it by 50% resulting in rapid turn arounds for projects over US $25 million and a revenue margin of 25% across EMEA.
▪ Led a team of 250+ PMs/Migration Managers focusing on huge and complex Transformation/Change the Bank programs.
▪ Setup the first ever Application Migration Factory in Hewlett Packard Enterprise(HPE), modelled the program management governance and designed project workbooks to maintain project quality across the programs and ensured zero escalation delivery.
▪ Ensured that team members have development plans in place, continuously developing their skills and competencies through various mentoring programs and skill enhancements workshops.
▪ Created and setup the Enterprise Program Efficiency Tool that utilized the Microsoft Project and Access features achieving Schedule and Resource efficiency of >30% and savings of US $0.2milion. This was an in-house tool that was used across other programs within HPE and helped reduce operating costs for 4 major clients by 15-25% and increasing our revenue by 35%.
▪ Designed, developed and implemented a Project Management Scorecard and Project Healthsheet to assess performance of Project Managers which increased project execution productivity by 85%. This solution was implemented across the 3 Regional infrastructure Technology Outsourcing (ITO) Global Delivery Centers to help optimize the delivery for all managers.
▪ Setup the Project Management Office in Bangalore, as well as Project Management University at HPE, comprising of re-usable frameworks that were replicated across 2 major accounts.
▪ Secured transformation programs worth approx. US $75-100 Million to HPE as well as retained 90-95% of our top talent, enhancing HPE Project Management workforce skills by 60%.

▪ Successfully managed and completed 4 major DC consolidation programs for Bank of America, Asiapacific region, delivering $30Mn savings and improving response and latency from 30% to 70% in multiple processes (Infrastructure provisioning, End User Computing and Network services).
▪ Awarded Hewlett Packard Most Valuable People (MVP) award 2012 for stabilizing the Bank of America Asiapcific Network Program.
▪ Performed a dual role as Country Account Lead to be the in-country Single Point of Contact for Hewlett Packard staff that included Project Management, Project Engineering (VOICE, VOIP, FIREWALL, & SECURITY) Operations Engineering & Business operations team in the asiapacific region.
▪ Deployed HP Helion Cloud (Target Platform Instance) across India, Hong Kong and Australia for Deutsche Bank. I worked in conjunction with the Networking, Security and the Regional Datacenter delivery teams. In-scope included Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Storage Services (Backup/SAN/Archive) and Automation design, development and testing for Target Platform Release. Highlights include:
✔ Stood up the India Data Center in record time of 14 months, performing site surveys, conducting stakeholder and SME interviews to determine, recommend and document project needs and resource requirements. Assessed Data Center environment capacity & implementation requirements, site specific Bill of Materials and developed detailed implementation plans.
✔ Planned and coordinated procurement for the regional delivery of hardware and software components required to build Target Platform which ultimately resulted in a net outlay reduction of €15.5M.
✔ Delivered the architecture and solution interlock between the client and HP ensuring CTA Cost Avoidance of €2.2 M.
✔ Established Deep business analytics and Data modelling solutions to complex business situations enabling 36% in savings over a 10-year period.
✔ Provided the work breakdown structure and resource estimates to enable project scoping and demand forecasts.
✔ Conducted quarterly Internal Security Audits on various deliveries ensuring they comply with ISO 27K guidelines.

▪ Responsibilities included managing projects across Data centre involving migrations/ movements, Site Closure / relocations, IT environment setups & infrastructure upgrades, decommissions & maintenance projects, Integration projects involving business processes, strategy and Transformation.
▪ Major clientele included DELPHI, Unilever, Clorox, Agilent Technologies and Cadbury Schweppes.
✔ Created detailed Agile and Waterfall project plans and estimates, conducted root cause analysis, identified performance issues and provided recommendations.
✔ Implemented projects involving multiple technologies across WINTEL, DATABASE, NETWORKS, UNIX, LINUX, CITRIX, VMware, Application Packaging, Backup & Storage, File & Print Services and Active Directory.

✔ Designed a scalable and configurable level 3 alert system to allow interaction of end users via Blackberry through SMS. It dramatically reduced customer helpdesk calls as it resulted in 15+ Mn transactions through the SMS channel in one year.
✔ Customized and delivered Dialogue HR system including integration with Outlook and Exchange servers.
✔ Implemented 360◦ view of the customer including billing information, recent issues, orders, churn risk; reduced the average handling time of the call center agent by 60% on average and improved customer satisfaction.

▪ Responsibilities involved designing, programming and implementing software of embedded devices and system, using Integrated Development Environment (IDE) simplifying the development process, assembling hardware and software modules - SoM (System-on-a-Module)/SoC (System-on-a-Chip)
▪ Involved with developing, coding, testing and debugging system software. Used MATLAB to create user interfaces, implement algorithms, work with data plots, functions, matrices, graphs.
✔ Designed and implemented a low-cost RFID card reader saving 90% of manual efforts in reporting and tracking. Attendance/shift ROTA, saved costs by $19, 000 through automated reporting via Visual Basic designed in UI per annum.
