Project Scope: Commissioning of Iron Ore Processing Plant (Onshore & Offshore), 24 Conveyors, 1
Main Substation, 5 Substations, 3 Ship unloaders & 1 Ship Loader with supporting Utilities including Fire detection systems.

Responsibilities held:
o Responsible for the administration and monitoring of company environmental health and safety programs and policies.
o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulation and assist with the development & delivery of environmental health and safety training to all employees.
o Implement, Audit & Improve HSE Management System.
o Develop & Implementation of policies and procedures necessary for the Project.
o Managing, coaching and mentoring the project HSE Team.
o Investigation Lead on incidents and accidents with Taproot (RCA) Method to identify the Root Cause, propose corrective & preventive actions.
o Keeping statistical records and review to check the target was met.
o Develop HSE Trainings on various tasks for the employees & contractors.

Achievement: 1.2 Million Safe Man hours with Zero LTI. Award given by Client.
Responsibilities held:
o Implementation of Rio Tinto HSE Strategies through HSEMS core elements
o Ensure compliance with local rules and regulations.
o Ensure the policies and procedures are implemented.
o Management of 23 member HSE team.
o Assisting the functional management to develop HSE plans and procedures
o Develop special procedure for high risk activities and provide trainings.
o Developing Project Risk Register and its implementation.
o Manage inspections, audits and ensure the corrective actions are done by contractors.
o Investigation of near miss and incidents to prevent future occurrence.

Responsibilities held:
o Liaison with client & contractor on EHS aspects.
o Conducting regular EHS meeting with contractor & Client.
o Preparation of Risk Assessments for various activities like hot work, confined space, heavy lifting, working at heights, etc.
o Preparation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
o Monitoring project safety, environment and health programs to ensure compliance within corporate & local regulatory requirements.
