My work was mainly focused on designing biodegradable artificial skin formulations for second degree burn wounds. During this course of work, I have got experience in cell culture techniques and in vivo experiments also (handling of rats).
My work was mainly focused on designing cost effective, industrially scalable and efficient polymeric nanomaterials which can co deliver anti cancer drugs and nucleic acids to cancer cells. Inhibition in the cancer cell proliferation, by knocking down the expression of polo like kinase 1 (Plk1) protein, has been evaluated post delivering Plk1 specific siRNA to cancer cells. During this course of work, I have got experience in cell culture techniques and in vivo experiments also (handling of mice and nude mice).
Worked as a project assistant in pharmacoscintigraphic techniques. Formulation of pharmaceutical formulations and their pharmacoscintigraphic evaluations have been done during the work period.
PhD Degree awarded in October 2017.
Have done specialization in Pharmaceutics. Area of work was formulation of solid lipid nanoparticles fr intestinal lymphatic targeting of anti HIV drug (Lopinavir).
Passed with first division. Qualified GATE exam with 97.34 percentile.
