• Preparing detail design drawings for Fire Alarm System using AutoCAD.
• Fire Alarm & Fire suppression system design for Notifier & Edwards system which includes preparation of layout drawings, single line diagram and Fire Alarm control panel outline & wiring drawings and battery size calculation & voltage drop calculations.
• Design of Very Early Warning Smoke detection systems.
• Checking the stock and making most favorable use equipment, materials and resources in order to avoid stagnation of some items.
• Preparing drawing schedules, operation and maintenance manuals based on client requirements.
• Reporting weekly progress to manager.
• Make site visits and evaluate the fire protection needs of industrial facilities.
• Attending meetings with client to discuss client issues and give technical guidance to their queries.
• Inspect new or existing facilities and recommend the appropriate equipment suitable to protect the particular facility.
• Co-ordination with site engineer regarding site installation.
• Supervise a group of draftsmen to produce shop drawings.
• Responsible for development of Design drawings and Shop drawings of TDS ( Telecommunication Distribution System), FAS ( Fire Alarm System ), BMS ( Building Management System ), ACS (Access Control System ) & VSS ( Video Surveillance System )
• Responsible to supervise a group of draftsmen in order to maintain drafting standards/ shop drawing standard as per project specification.
• Attending meetings with the consultant and main contractor to finalize the co-ordination issues, design issues etc.
• Preparing drawing schedules based on client requirements.
• Supervised Fiber optic cable laying.
• Ensuring that client’s standards and requirements are met on site.
• Attending meetings with client to discuss site issues and site progress.
• Co-ordination with site engineer regarding site installation.
• Ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials on site.
• Prepare and submit daily progress report to client.
ACADEMIC PROJECT Automation of micro- hydel plant & LED street lighting –The plant was automated using geared DC motor to control the valve according to the load requirement through a micro controller (AT 89C52). The micro-controller compares it with a reference voltage and gives a signal to the motor and opens or closes the valve accordingly so as to generate a voltage equivalent to the reference value. Now a battery is charged using this output which is used for LED street lighting which is a circuit consisting of 12 High Flux LED.
