Generation of regular reports to management on the effectiveness of the QHSE systems
Liaise with management and staff to ensure continued QHSE integration into core operations.
Monitor and ensure that all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation is complied with and ensure a safe working environment for all team members within a busy working environment

Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing and maintaining safe working practices in accordance with safety management system as per OHSAS 18001-2007.
Designing & conducting safety training programs to ensure employees are provided with the necessary knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively, in conjunction with the Training Department.
Responsible for investigating and providing assistance in accidents and incidents, analyzing the causes and developing preventative measures to prevent reoccurrences.
Responsible for identifying hazards and risks at all company premises and operational activities through regular inspections/risk assessments/ internal audits/safety spot checks/safety tours to ensure continuous improvement of health and safety conditions and practices.
Handling of the safety management software INTELEX.
Arranging and Hosting the Health and Safety Meeting with the cooperation of operational management and preparing minutes of meeting, Follow ups.
Preparing the Toolbox Talks, First Aid Meeting Topics, Safety alerts and other communication topics.
Conducting the Risk Assessment throughout the facilities and also assisting the preparation of Standard Operating Procedure.
Conducting periodic fire evacuation drills (also once in a year joint evacuation with Dubai Civil Defense), first aid drills, and Spill control drills to ensure adequate personnel are identified, properly trained, and readily available for responding to emergency situations.
Coordinate with Engineering team with regards to the Fire safety (Fire protection/detection/Fighting equipment’s/pump room) and monitoring of the Engineering work permits.
Advising the departments with regards to the selection of PPE and Advice and organizes the display of appropriate notices, signs, and safety posters in company areas.
Liaising with external bodies including the Dubai Civil defense, Dubai ambulance, and safety auditors.
Conducting first aiders, fire wardens, internal auditors and safety representatives meeting and advise the departments for the allocation.
Liaise with engineering team for Selection process of contractor, Interviewing and selection of HSE Engineers /officers. Reviewing and approval of contractor HSE plan, Risk assessments and HSE forms etc.
Manage/Advise the contractor HSE Engineers/HSE officers to Verify Hazards and effects management controls as specified in the contractor HSE plan, EKFC Contractor guidelines, Local legislations etc. are implemented in coordination with consultant representative through regular inspections, Weekly meetings, follow ups etc.
