Technical:
• Advise and support Electrical Engineering expertise consistent with Lead Engineer level competency during EPC and Startup phase until handover to permanent Asset whilst ensuring project deliverables meet Operations expectations in term of Safety, Operability, Reliability and Maintainability over the facility design life cycle.
• Develop Conceptual Studies and Basis for Design Reports, ESR, FMP, CSR for Onshore & Offshore Oil & Gas Projects.
• Develop electrical systems design narratives, technical studies, reports and project schedules.
• Present technical briefings to management, program officials, and technical staff.
• Influence project decisions based not only on CAPEX but considering OPEX for the project life cycle.
• Ensures compliance with DEL specifications, processes and procedures for the assigned projects.
• Facilitate and participate in Design Review, SAFOP, HAZID, HAZOP, SAFOP, ATEX and Energy Review workshops and provide technical inputs to designs and procedures for the implementation of approved field operations whilst mitigating new technology risks introduced by the project.
• Review & approval of design documents viz Load calculations, SLDs, Specifications, datasheets, sizing calculations and layout drawings.
• Discussion with Vendors and Contractors on technical issues.
• Technical assistance to projects department for technical bid evaluations for finalizing FEED and EPIC Contractor.
• Vendor Drawing Review, approval and finalization of technical aspects for purchase of equipment and materials.
• Preparation of SOW, technical specifications and drawings for in-house FEED projects.
• Assist in the development of new products or processes or systems.
• Adhere to all safety standards and practices.
• Ensure best design practices are followed and drive process improvements.
• Oversee multi-discipline projects to develop conceptual designs, estimates, design drawings and specifications.
• Drive an Incident Free environment through establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture
• Preparing scope of work for Engineering, Procurement & Construction Contractor.
• Preparing the specifications for Transformers, GIS, AIS, GIB, VFDs, UPS, DGs, Motors, Heaters, CI Skids, IA Compressors, MOVs, Actuators, and Thyristor Control Panels, Wind Turbine Generators, Solar PV systems, Cathodic Protection and Heat Tracing.
• Developing sustainability engineering practices
• Participating FAT, SAT and Third party inspection of Motors, Transformers, Power Cables, MSVs, Switchboards and Solar PV Systems.

Commercial & Managerial:
• OPEX and CAPEX budgets for projects and Business plans
• Crafting Cost-Time Resources / estimates for new proposals and projects
• Perform Value Engineering, Value Analysis and Value Methodology
• Producing estimates, drawings, tender documents and work schedules
• Pre-qualification of equipment suppliers/ contractors
