Responsibilities:
-Preparation of financial statements, reports and all statutory or regulatory reports.
-Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing of financial reporting of the Company.
-Coordinating with the various departments of the company in providing accurate and timely information.
-Communicate with managers, vendors and external parties to manage business requirements.
-Responsible for accounts receivable tracking, management including billing verification and collection matters.
-Responsible in executing corporate finance objectives consistent with Company’s strategic goals.
-Oversee the finance department functions including risk management, treasury, budget, audit and compliance.
-Advise and assist senior management in preparation of business plan, budgets and monitor actual expenditures vis-à-vis budget estimates as an on-going process. Preparation of weekly cash flow deposits and forecasts.
-Develop and implement an effective system of accounting and payroll system, which includes maintaining of chart of accounts and ensuring that daily accounting records are passed in the system as per the generally accepted accounting principles and in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
-Provide directives to Accounts team in day to day operations.
-Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
-Coordinate with statutory auditors and act as a primary liaison with auditors, financial consultants or any other financial regulatory authority.
-Evaluate performance and provide training and development opportunities for Finance and Accounting staff.
-Provide leadership by delegating tasks, responding to staff inquiries and providing overall direction to employees.
-Manage the payroll system in order to ensure that all staff is paid on timely and accurate basis.
Responsibilities:
-Planned and executed a variety of financial functions, performed accounting supervision and handled divion wide imports.
-Ensured timely preparation and submission of monthly profitability reports, cash flow statements, receivable reports, inventory lists and other projection reports which provided a sound base for strategic decision making.
-Prepared and maintained financial and variance analysis, examined and submitted accounting reports related to P&L, inventory value, liabilities position, and recommended improvements.
- Led and supervised a team of accounting professionals in coordinating the overall financial accounting activities.
- Led negotiations regarding pricing, quality, quantity, shipment arrangements and financial settlements through LCs and repayment of bank liabilities.
- Advised on credit limits and proposed collection measures to clear long outstanding accounts with the concerned customer and drove legal proceedings on disputed debts.
- Performed inventory management of all assets in collaboration with store keepers and carried out regular checks, maintained stock counts and verification in addition to replenishment.
-Analyzed chaning market trends based on continuous filed surveys in order to enable timely imports of specific products in the right quanitites for pormotional events.
