(Roll-on-Roll-off or better known as, Ro-Ro technology, is a modern type of multimodal transport implying the transport of road vehicles or transport by vessel implementing a horizontal type of loading & unloading. Ro-Ro project has both Offshore and Onshore works.)
A project of Gujarat Maritime Board.


Responsibilities: • Preparation & amendment of master schedule of the project
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports & their submission to Client
• Preparation of various presentations to be presented to clients in meetings
• Ensuring availability of required materials, tools & tackles at site coordinating together with procurement dept.
• Carrying out fortnightly progress meetings/safety review meeting to review project status and formulate future actions
• Negotiations with new sub-contractors/vendors and their selection
• Preparing client bills and submitting the same for clearance
• Correspondence with Client (Gujarat Maritime Board), Consultant (Beckett-Rankine India Pvt Ltd) and Head office (Essar Projects India Ltd)

• Coordinated with Myanmar Govt. Authorities for allocation of land for the project
• Assisted the Survey dept. for initial survey & marking of lands at Sittwe & Paletwa
• Involved in setup of the site office & residential arrangements for staff
• Recruited local technical staff for the project
• Explored & developed competent local sub-contractors & vendors

PROJECT: Gana-Hadala Gas Pipeline Project (GHPL), Anand, Gujarat The GHPL project has 30" dia × 82 kms Gas pipeline for Gujarat State Petronet Ltd. (GSPL) from Anand (Gana) to Hadala in Gujarat.


Engineering: • Reviewing of Detailed Engineering Drawings of SV (Sectionalizing Valve) stations
• Reviewing of Vendor Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)
• Preparation of BOQ/BOM for department from GA and Isometric drawings
• Preparation of Isometric Drawings
• Preparation and submission of As-Built Drawings to Client (Gujarat State Petronet Limited)

Execution: • Implementation and execution of scheduled plan through resource management, manpower management and time management
• Work flow monitoring and co-ordination with Client, PMC and TPIA
• Hydro-testing of stations, Nitrogen Purging & Intelligent Pigging
• Preparation of O&M reports and their submission to Client
• Clearance of the punch-points of all the SV-stations

• Prepared and Presented detailed report on "Operational Challenges in Pipeline Project", methodology for the same included Site Visits at different chainages for all the three spreads; this also provided practical exposure to Execution of the Pipeline Project.
• Reported details about the actual difficulties prevailing on sites to the Project Manager, the suggestions formulated and the discussions ensued, gave better understanding about significant issues of concern in operations of projects.
