Azmeel Contracting Company is an ISO 9001 Certified Construction based Company in Saudi Arabia. As of 2016, Azmeel had 58 active projects throughout the Kingdom, with clients ranging from Saudi Aramco, Royal Commission, Metro Rail Project, Embassy, Dammam University and several other Government and local Projects. I am assigned to Power Rental
Department, which supplies and maintain Generators, Tower Lights and Welding machines to all Company Projects. Equipments used are Caterpillar, FG Wilson, Olympian, Kirloskar, Miller, Allmand, Breaker and others. I am the sole Electrical Engineer in the Department, and based on my performance and skills management promoted me as in charge of Maintenance workshop and Jubail Area projects. My job responsibilities are as follows:
Plan and execute preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of the equipments;
Perform Load Calculation with requested parameters to analyse Generator size required;
Recommend Generator make and model for new asset inventory;
Overlook material inventory to maintain adequate spare parts supplies;
Investigate misuse / accident cases to identify root cause of the incident;
Comprehensive experience in planning, organizing and managing project electrical construction activities in close
coordination with Engineers, Supervisors, Manufacturers, subcontractors and all interdisciplines;
Attending Daily Progress, Weekly Progress, HSE & Project Kickoff meetings;
Preparation of Method statements and Job safety Analysis;
Monitor WorkOrder status in the Workshop;
Assure the quality and efficiency of the equipments by performing load test on them.
Assist in performing age-reliability analysis of Power equipments;
Design Electrical Installation and Implement as per Client requirements, with HT Transformer, Generator, LV Switch
Boards etc.;
Experience in preparing Electrical Designs/Schema’sfor Electrical Inspectorate/EB for the approval;
Monitor Quality Control of Installationswith Safety measures and go-live activity of projects;
Vast experience in various successful Large Scale Project Implementations, below are my assistance in realtime
projects:
* Installationof 630kVA Indoor Transformer, 380kVA Diesel Generator and performed commissioning at
Payyavoor crusher at Payyavoor;
* Installation of 400kVA Indoor Transformer and connected Electrics at Antos Industries, Pariyaram;
* Installation of 250kVA USS, 160 & 125kVA Diesel Generators, and connected electrics at the premises of Saba
Hospital, Payyannur;
* Installation of 250kVA Outdoor Transformer, 62.5kVA diesel generator and connected electrics at College of
Engineering Technology, Payyannur;
* Installation of 30kWp grid connected solar system, 50kVA diesel generator and connected electrics at Koyili
collage of Nursing, Kannadiparamba;
* Installation of 160kVA diesel generator by replacing existing 63kVA diesel generator at NTTF Telicherry.
